I think this is not a bug, this is intentional, if the exploit found in this forums was dangerous enough to force a server donwtime or restart.

A friend and I were doing Ravens point dungeon in hard mode when the update hit...good thing we decided to continue to the end before updating...

On a side note, my end-chest drops were identical req 9 Aureate Blades....hopefully there is no rollback after this....
