Need more things to spend faction on other then Tournament Tokens once it's capped

Let's face it: once you've unlocked everything there is to unlock with your faction, there's nothing to do with it! You can buy tournament tokens sure, but that's friggin lame. You need very few to fufill there use, which is good, but then that's it we don't have anything else to do with it.

So I say, allow players to use there faction on other things! Fun, harmless things that won't affect the Guild Wars Economy. Such as: Wintersday or Halloween gifts! Example: Ghost-in-the-Box, Transmogrifier Tonic, Snowman Summoner, Spiked Eggnogs, etc.

It's fun, it's easy and it makes capping your faction a lot more fun. Just a harmless little fix that would make a lot of PvPer's happy.

i think you sould be able to get tournament points with it.

If by tournament points you mean qualifier points then thats ridiculous. That would completely ruin the tournament system and the prestige of entering the monthly (of which is already decreasing rapidly)

If by tournament points you mean reward points that could be an okay idea I guess. But it should be very hard to obtain them. ex: 3k faction = 1 reward point.

Next time please clarify what your saying.

Those gifts would be nice. Could help those in need of a title as well.

I agree to the gifts and to the Zesbeer idea of getting Reward points not Tournament points . I have over 16 stacks of 250 tourny tokens in storage collecting dust, yet hte only use is to enter gvg tournys. Make a use for the tokens.

i dont pvp but that'd definatly encourage me, somthing like 1000 pts for dwarven ale and 3000 for firewater or somthing like that?

i'd like to see it maybe conveted to kurz/lux maybe?

Definetly this would help bring PvP more into guild wars by way of encouraging people to max their faction to buy these. They help towards certain titles and are fun to use and fool around with.

I'm glad you guys thought of more ideas.

Zesbeer's idea works, but I think it would need a large overhaul to the system, or the individual points would have to cost a lot. It seems like it'd be a hella lot easier to get Balthazar faction the normal way than to go through the tournaments. I've never personally been through one, so I could be incorrect on this.

Perhaps the solution would be to make 10k Faction = 1 Point. Again, I don't know how many points you need for what, or how well that would work.

I think you should be able to get special effects with it, like buy new emotes or funny looking hats or upgrades

Examples:
PvP Spring Upgrade- 10k faction
every time you attack with your weapon, it makes a *boing* noise

PvP Rooster Hat- 5k faction
every time you die, a chicken spirit appears and eats corn on the ground for 20 seconds.

*note all of these would have the same bonuses and values as your original armor and weapons but you can change between them for a mere 1k faction, to keep the points flowing between you and the market, also they should put in special upgrades every once in a while and only open it to those who get the upgrades that day. Just a fun little thing to add into pvp and amuse everyone while we're at it*

Yes we realy need to be able to trade balth for something USEFUL like special event items and such. i have 100 tokens and nobody seems to want to buy them so its just a total waste of balth

I'd like to see buyable tomes and elite tomes. Maybe 1K gp + faction to get one.
