Only 10 days left! More stuffs for the online store... please?

Right now, the only things offered in the online store (that can be bought) are just extra mule character slots and ... oh nothing else

If the goal is to promote the online store, is it possible to put more stuffs to sell in the online store? Stuffs like /bonus weapons, minipets, hats, dances, auras, and whatever etc adds more variety than just offering extra mule storage.

Let us purchase Divine Aura and the Collector's Edition dances from Factions and Nightfall.

I really, really want to unlock those but I can't find copies anywhere.

Europe has more..why not USA?

some of the collectors greens and minis would be cool. they may not be useful but sometimes its just fun to have them.

Of course they could completly kill the gold sales on ebay and the use of bots and just sell it at the store :O That way they get the profits and noobs still get their gold. Then said noob money could be spent on fixing GW1 and making GW2 even freaking better.

Now that's something I can /sign. The only thing I'd want from Prophecies CE is Divine Aura, and I really don't want to pay 120+ USD on a copy from eBay.

Agreed, there isn't enough to buy in the online store.

They should add more to buy but.... please don't make it shirts and hats and the like. Sure its good advertising but omg do we really need more geeks running around advertising their preferred MMORPG? Its like saying look, this is what i do with my life ~ I play a hell of a lot myself but I would never, EVER want to put that first impression on someone.

I think that the shirts are stylized very well and actually look pretty cute. It would probably take one a while to realize just what it was advertising, and there in lies its charm.

I know I'd wear order immediately if NCJapan had cover in that area.

As much as I'd like to get my hands on Divine Aura, I understand that it would kill off the value of the Collector's Edition copies. These special "emotes" were handed out to those who wanted something special, and felt enough dedication to buy a CE. I would be against it :S

I do want more items, but things like the divine aura and festival hats shouldn't be put in there. They're only special because of how few people have them, put them up in the store and almost EVERYONE will. Then there's no point in having it.

I wouldn't mind some mini's and what naught though.

But not weapons and mini's and not even the CE dances.
Next thing you ask is GW Golds in the online store 100k 5 dollars.
Or braces for 30 dollars a piece.
Nope that won't be good.
For the dances you just in bad luck IMO you should have bought the CE when you could.
But i have a weak spot for mini's so iff they do make it 1 per account.

My view for what its worth

Things achievable in the game should remain in the game so please no shortcuts for money.

If it was available for money originally then having the ability to upgrade your account is fine by me.
If they want to add more ingame upgrades that's also ok, but only things like dance emotes and the like.

Many people didnt have a chance to get the collectors editions or if they did it wasn't that clear what it would gain them in the game.

If it reduces the cost of collectors editions on sale now GOOD.
Maybe the reason I couldnt find one when I looked was because someone out for a profit had bought up loads of em.

I made certain to get the collectors editions of Factions and Nightfall, they should have made a collectors edition of EON and stuck the bonus missions pack in it.

It would be a kick into the ass, when anyone who has bought a CE for like 70€ to get those special stuff, that was one thing of the most interesting bonus stuffs in the CE of Prophecies ...
and then should it become possible for all others to buy the Aura ect for like only 5€ or so oO NO..just NO ... in this kind I'M now the first time so selfish, like certain people here which are so selfish to grant not others that certain titles should become slightly easier, because they made them still on the harder tour ...

Theres tons of other stuff, that can be sold via O-Store, like

those other promotional Weapons from Japan ect. (Coke advertise) and so on, or all those god damn freaking inflatious high costing minipets, like Panda, Mallyx, Kanaxai and all that stuff that costs like 1000-6000 Platin ...

Or you can buy you more storage place for your chest.
Or you can buy you the ability to connect 2 accounts with each other to make out of 2 Accounts 1 (account fusion)

or you can buy you your wished items as perfects with mods and upgrades of your wish (req9) with skin of your wish. (for example for all those, who want a perfect sundering celestial long bow of fortitude with +15%^50/enchanted
but don't want to buy them ingame for like 80-90k oO)

or you can buy you titles of your wish, when you don't want to grind for something for months ...

that thigns are alternatives, which don't kick other players into the ass, which still have bought something for alot more money to get the same thing.

I would also appreciate it, when also all prerelease packs would be vend in the o-Store, because lots of people had not the chance to get for example on the nes for prophecies and Nightfall, but lots of people want for example have them alone for the custom items, the Chimera Prism, the Scythe and the Spear from the Nightfall prerelease pack ... and facks also with its Dagger and Staff Weapon for its 2 classes

The only thing I would accept in kind of Auras and Dances is, when people would have to buy the whole CE's for the same price and when they get then naturally the same stuff ... then its ok, when Auras and Dances become buyable, because then the buyer has paid the exact same sum of money for the same stuff and then, and only then its no kick into the ass for all those, which have bought the CE normally

They won't add anything new in the next 10 days. As soon as the bonus pack was announced we were already asking for more things in the online store, therefore if there isn't anything now, they won't add anything new. This was the worst thought out promotion over to be completely honest.

I still think they should add things like new faces for sale, new armor skins, weapon skins, and some new hair styles [just pay like $5 for a set of 1 face and 4 styles or 3 weapons and 2 armors, etc.]

There really isnt a problem selling the divine aura from the original collectors edition you just make it slightly different, so its obvious to everyone.

So divine aura and dance emotes for what say £5-99 each and make them a different colour.

They do the hats that way at the festivals isn't there a slight difference in style between the pumpkin heads each year.

Or am I dreaming that one ?

Excellent idea and one of the things that has been requested in a recent thread of mine by numerous ppl.

CE upgrades, minis, etc would be things I would want to buy. Weapons/upgrades maybe. That wouldn't be as bad as gold, but I think even that may have a huge impact on the in-game economy.

As far as t-shirts, mouspads, etc.... all things not "in-game" ... NO THANKS... that is just... yuck.

Pets, you could buy any pet you want, they would start out at lv 1 though.

Extra Storage Space.

Bags, 20 slot bags.

Upgrade to collector's editions.

Mini pets from the magazine's but not mini pets from the birthdays.

Scrolls, similar to the scrolls you could purchase for double exp, but instead make it so, it would "double rep, faction" scrolls.

But I agree, they need to add some more stuff in there before the promotion ends, i only spent 4.99 so far on that upgrade to game of the year edition to get those weapons haha. I don't even use the character slots now, so no need to purchase more character slots.

Wouldn't want to see Gold/plat to buy, or weapons. Perhaps a special armor you could purchase from the online store.

They have already stated they are not giving any collector stuff again.

But they could add something, like a new PvP pack, with the new heroes, unlocking the GW:EN skills, allowing PvP characters change pets... and some more stuff.

Nice ideas! In fact if they were to sell a GW computer case skin or something along those lines I sure would buy it!

And for the record. I'm not sure but don't they already sell in-game weapons? The preorder bonus ones, anyway?

i'd like to buy "CE Account Upgrades", like factions you'd get the holograms and the mini kuang, etc. Along with being able to buy the mini pets from promotions ( magazine promos and that,NOT Comptetion, as your still more or less buying the mini if you buy form a mag), a max of maybe .€5-10 on the CE packs, less for minis maybe.

Armour packs ( shown all the armours beforehand)

Buying the headgear to previous events (Whiches hat etc.) ie unlocking it on account so it can be crafted, Sold Seperatly, maybe €1-2 per item or that)

i would hate if they sold gold online.

How about just adding the bonus mission pack so people can actually buy it? Having to buy unnecessary items to accumulate $29 USD (26e/£17) is annoying (yes I am aware its a special offer when you buy stuff in the online store save your flames trolls). For the most part many of us don't have any need/use for extra character slots or subsequent chapters.


I've asked around and have read this and other forums. Plenty of people are actually willing to pay for this BMP. If the move is to keep this BMP special or w/e like the collector edition stuff then thats fine. At least add the new pvp packs or something.

I'm very sorry, and yes, I have asked about this many times. We do not have team members available to create the items to sell in the store. The promotion is as it will remain.

I hope that in the future we will have some of the items you ask about. But know that we will never sell collector's edition exclusives like the auras or signature dances.

In order to get the mission bonus pack, you have to buy stuff on the online store within the next ten days.

And that Gaile, is why this was a badly thought out promotion. A promotion for people to buy from the ingame store which essentially sells nothing. If you guys knew that you didn't have the staff to create things for the ingame store, you really should have thought of that before you created a promotion that required you to buy from just that ingame store.

Nah, its a GOOD promotion from a.net's perspective. The promotion was set up to make you buy GW:EN online, thus saving a.net money since they don't have to pay overhead costs.

I mean, yes, hats, and ingame items and stuff would be nice. But it would have cost a.net money to produce said products/code the ingame items.

Thus, this promotion may be "bad" for the community, but for A.net it's great. Its free money.

How long could it take small team in spare time to create little things?
or how many staff and how long did it take ot create the BMP?

i dont know much about games dev yet,(want ot later) but wouldnt it make sense to:

Make little things like above posters
-> Sell in online shop
-> Get Money
-> Use Money to hire more staff + prob mooney to spare?

Wouldnt that get you to roughly where you would be without the extras but with a happier community?

ie, 4 million copies sold,
lets say thats 1 million people with all 4 campaigns, and lets us say 5% have current access to an online shop(SMS would create alot more access imo,most peopel have a mobile,alot more then CC imo) and buy somthing for $5

wouldn't that be $250,000
which i would imagine would get a nice net profit, adn those seem bad case conditions above imo.

again i dont know much about development and buisness, so i might be completly off^^

would there ever be an update or online store thing with the mooonwalk or the hammer dance?(as in hammer time)
