Well I downloaded GW off of the site, I don't have a key yet but I plan on getting one here soon.

But after the download was finished (Around an hour later [Slow internet]) The screen switched from a black screen to my desktop over and over making loud clicking noises. When it was finished it showed me this and 3 GW programs were open, one of witch, when I clicked the mouse would stay at the top left of my screen not being able to be moved, as if a game was open but I couldn't see it.

Here is what happened after the rapid flashing.

If anybody could help that would be great, I am running Directx9 so I don't know what else is wrong.

256 PC133 SDRAM

Nvidia GeForce2 MX/MX 400

Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 1.60GHz

If you need to know anything else about my computer, just ask.

Thanks in advanced everyone!

Far as I know the GeForce2 does not support DX 9.

DirectX 9.0c isn't just a 3D graphics API. You can install it even if your 3D hardware doesn't support its new stuff, and as far as I know the GeForce 2 MX only supports DirectX 7. There may be some way to run Guild Wars with it anyway, but the game's probably not very playable with just 256 megabytes of RAM in any case - I've seen it use over 400 megabytes after prolonged gaming.

Official minimum specification for Nightfall (earlier campaigns have slightly lower requirements, and a bit higher for eye of the north)

* Intel Pentium III 1 GHz, or equivalent
* 512 MB RAM
* 3 GB Available HDD space
* ATI Radeon 8500 or GeForce 3 Series video card, with 64 MB VRAM

You'll need a more modern graphic card, GF 2 is too old. Also you'll need more memory, 256mb is never gonna be enough for anything these days not to mention PC133 SDRAM is really slow.

I would suggest a full upgrade but it may or may not be possible for you.

Official Recommended System Specs:

* Windows XP/2000
* Intel Pentium 4 2.0 GHz or equivalent
* 1 GB RAM
* 4 GB Available HDD Space
* ATI Radeon 9600 or GeForce FX 5700 Series Video Card or above
* Sound Blaster® X-FiTM series Sound Card
