Does ss/55hp solo necro still work in UW against the Bladed Aatxe??

So, there I was starting to get bored with the pve in prophecies and factions with my necro/monk and was looking for something harder and more interesting so I decide to go to the UW solo (cos lets face it, we never like to see another party member get ecto and not you).
I knew about the dying nightmare thing about them stripping enchaments and they have really never effected me in the past and they didn't this time. So I go and pay 1k, go into UW get rid of the dying nightmares, before they get in the way, without breaking a sweat but when I get to Bladed Aatxe they keep interupting me and i die. So i equip reckless haste so they miss me and pay another 1k, do exactly the same thing die again due to condition overload. So i equip plague touch aswell as reckless haste pay 1k, die again. I thought let me try this again, I die. I wasted 4 RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOing k!!!!!!!!!!!

Death 1:interuptions and conditions
Death 2:conditons(mainly) and (less) interuptions
Death 3:interuptions
Death 4:interuptions

Mending,
protective spirit,
spiteful spirit,
healing breeze
plague touch,
reckless haste,
esccence bond,
balthzar's spirit
I know this lengthy for a simple question (so you can take this opportunity to talk about 55hp in general) but i pretty RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOing annoyed that I wasted 4k and I am not rich in GW money. So why did i die 4 times??

Deadly Riposte is used, so do not attack them, as your attacks will do no damage anyway. Savage Slash is used, and has a decent recharge time. So use a skill with a decent cast time to get them to use Savage Slash, then use the skill you need. Much faster/easier with a 55 Monk, and running SS with Arcane Echo, and if you want all the drops, prepare to waste money.

I don't tend to have this problem and even if I do get interrupted it doesn't kill me, but one thing I've noticed is that if you use a skill when they're in your aggro bubble, they'll use Savage Slash right away. So, you can try to get them to use it that way or recast useless spells like Balth's so they'll interrupt it and then cast whatever you need to.

You might wanna try taking Insidious Parasite.

Nope. Without Spell breaker it's hard to avoid the dying nightmares.
Without AV/SV, its pretty impossible to deal with the e-denial of "fear me"

A long time ago I ran the 55 necro there, and the build contained a dummy 2-second cast skill that you'd use to draw their interrupt. Guardian perhaps, or Aegis, or something similar, don't really remember what, but you had to time it right, so they'd waste the interrupts, after which you'd use other long casting spells safely.

All in all, I found it too slow and too annoying.

And these days, there's so many faster/better/more effective/reliable builds that I didn't think anyone even remembered this.

wat is av/sv

[skill]Ancestor's Visage[/skill] and [skill]Sympathetic Visage[/skill]. Which isn't actually possible with a 55 Necro. At least not solo and if you're not soloing I don't really see the point in even being a 55 Necro.

it works, but its too much trouble as other builds like w/rt are so much easier to get ectos.

All you have to do is know how to pull and the dying nightmares are a piece of cake.

I used Spoil Victor when I soloed the aatxe, and to keep energy up you had to arrgo atleast 2 of them

oh for smites you needed suffering to put a cover hex over Spoil or spiteful.

Dude.. just find a 55 and clear out those foes.. =P
