Hey, I like to use my sin for a lot of stuff (farming, soloing, etc...) but when I get into PUGs I usually find my teammates telling me to ping my build, and then summarily kicking me when they don't find me using an amazing build. So anyway, I came up with a new one and was hoping for some feedback on it, and whether ppl think it would be fairly good in a support role. All feedback is appreciated.
Illusion Magic: 7
Dagger Mastery: 12
Shadow Arts: 1+8
Critical Strikes: 8
Full Nightstalker Armor (+15 armor while attacking)
Full runes of attunement (+10 max energy)
Silencing Oni Daggers of Defense (15% while enchanted, 33% longer dazed, +5 armor)
Illusion of Weakness
Epidemic
Golden Lotus Strike
Temple Strike
Death Blossom
Golden Phoenix Strike
Heart of Shadow
Shadow Refuge
Feedback On PvE Support Sin Plz!

i like the idea of epidemic and temple strike a lot. mass blind and daze sounds very nice. i'll look into this closer later again, but i would suggest taking a shadowstep to charge in so your spread works out properly.
also illusion of weakness is pretty bad.
you need less energy. (aka don't use so many attunement runes ^^)
can't judge on more since i'm lacking time now. *marks thread for later use*

I'd replace Shadow Refuge and Heart of Shadow with [card]Shadow Walk[/card] and [card]Feigned Neutrality[/card]. FN will protect you once your combo is finished, and Shadow Walk will return you back to your monk so he can keep you alive.

Well, you really should drop Death Blossom for Twisting Fangs if you want to go down the Temple Strike-Epidemic route. Since Epidemic is unlinked, you might as well drop some in Domination for a Hex to combine with Black Mantis Thrust i/o Golden Lotus Strike. A mass snare is still very useful for PvE, not in the least for getting out after having delivered your combo. In this context, Golden Phoenix Strike should be replaced with Black Spider Strike. Shadow Refuge should be enough to keep up your health by itself, Illusion of Weakness is not really worth it.
As for the shadow step Mokone suggested: it is useful for jumping into a mob, but also draws upon your energy reserve (which is tightly stretched as is). A better tactic, perhaps, is to just basically walk in and *gulp* draw aggro, allowing some enemies to clutter around you. Dark Escape might help you during this period.
Good luck!

Thanks for the feedback, but I'm still gonna bump so more ppl see it. I can use all the advice I can get. ^ ^

1+8? Is +8 even possible?
On topic it is a good idea but drop golden phoenix strike you won't need it. Go with radiant insignia so you can use runes.

Clearly he meant 8+1...
Ditch some attunement runes for minors

If teams request your build anywhere other than high-end PvE or PvP don't worry about it and move on.
A lot of people are after MS-->DB cookie cutter spam builds or require you must have a rez, such teams are better avoided anyway imo.
Have fun with epidemic and good luck with your new build.

I posted a similar build back in June 2006:

It worked well for HH'ing Raisu Palace.

Not very good imo, as epidemic only works for adjacent foes, and the only time you will have all the foes adjacent to each other will be in organized groups that won't want such a relatively useless build anyway... For pretty much any class, if you want to have a nice party support build, just get high dwarf or vanguard ranks, and spam great dwarven weapon, armor of the great dward, any of the vanguard battle standards, etc. Some other things to consider would be way of the master critical strikes barrager or scyther, especially combined with someone that has GDW equipped, so you can spread around knockdowns and LOTS of damage. My friend is an assassin, and he usually uses one of the above two builds when we vanquish hard mode areas with our heros.
