I picked up Guild Wars again this week after playing rather less frequently during the summer and discovered that the Guild I am in has dwindled to the princely total of 1 member and I am now Guild Leader, the previous one having been auto-demoted for being off-line for too long.
The Guild's aim is to be a meeting point for the more casual UK/European gamers, and particularly to be a family-safe and polite environment for players where the parents and kids play different characters. For example my son is getting towards the end of Prophecies for the first time and is finding it tough going, with just henchmen and pick-up-groups. If we could expand the guild a bit more so maybe there is a chance of at least one other real, reliable and competent player being on-line when he's on-line it might also help out other people in the same situation. Likewise we're always happy to help out new starters back in Ascalon and elsewhere. We have characters in Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall but not yet Eye of the North.
We don't live-and-breathe Guild Wars and may only play a few hours a week, evenings/weekends, and are really only into PvE although some of the PvP stuff we have done is good fun, especially the snowball fights! Experienced players who can teach a few tricks and tolerate newbie mistakes are most welcome. The previous Guild Leader established a fairly well-stocked Guild Hall on the Burning Isle which it would be a shame to waste. If you are interested in joining please send a PM.
