i was think about a D/rt for my dervish
i wanted to try and utilize ebon dust aura
would splinter weapon spread the blindness or no?

No. Splinter Weapon doesn't make it so your Scythe hits more enemies than it would otherwise. Splinter Weapon is a separate hit, and thus any effects that your Scythe hits cause wouldn't be applied by Splinter.

If you go EDA i like to use D/A and use sig of malice so I get to remove my own conditions. I'll find my build when iget back to my place.

I've heard a D/P use EDA to send it from a distance. Not sure if it works though, never tried it personally

There's an Earth Prayers skill that does earth damage to all nearby enemies and causes blindness after 30 seconds or so. Also, EDA makes it so your attacks, if made by an earth weapon, cause blindness. I have an ebon spear and was thinking the same thing, for my Paragon.

and.. your battles will be shorter enough that you'll be able to recast and maintain your heart of fury.
