Warrior, because you can do it with W/Rt, W/Me (2 ways) and W/E and I think there is a W/N way to do it too.

you cant solo everything in uw,warrior and rt can do smites,graspings and maybee if they are skilled enuf go to chaos planes and kill mesmers,
dual monks can do smites,attatxes,graspings,colds,behemoths,but useless.
ele with sandstorm,taking on smites only..
ranger as echo trapper ye,have no idee what they can farm:P

if you gonna farm entire uw,gather a group and do nm and kill the foes that drops ectoes^^..

Best bang for the buck is VWK W/Rt. Not too terribly long either.
The question i have is if you do it in HM are the drops any better? Is it possible? I have not tried it as of yet in HM.

Anyway, the drop rate of ectos in HM are NOT increased but you get better gold drops and tomes etc. From all the forms above I think the only one that can do HM UW is the 600hp/smiter which is a duo run.

Yes, apparently, but you need to consider that Aatxe's are harder to kill, there are more smites than aatxe's and that smite runs are considerably faster.

My 2 cents:
For Entire UW: ~600hp/smiter definetly is best. For Just Profitable Smite Run: W/Rit - Safest E/Mo- Fastest However, any proffesion can solo the UW. (Yes even paragon i have devolped a build that works quite well with it. Will post later when i have time! ^_^) Senrath
There is no profession that can solo the entirety of the UW, except maybe Echo Trap rangers, but they would take way too long to do so.

can a 55 monk with SS+IP solo Bladed aatxes? cause last night i had prot spirit and healing breeze going, it was working, then all of sudden i died, and i still dont understand how i died...aatxes dont have any enchant stripment..so what gives? i was only aggroing 3 of them...

Pretty much any solo 55 is quicker and also gets the job done :P
To farm everyting in UW it would be easiest to do it in a group if you are new to it. Senrath

True true, back in the day of the free UW/FoW weekend, i about trapped my face off, but i could never really make it that far without flipping out when the enemy would reach 1hp and then run away! argh! but yes, they can solo a good deal of UW, although what about the huge trap worms? im not sure a trapper can deal with them. |
