Elona Chests

Hello,
2 MOnths ago i did Chest Farms in elona : All The Hidden Treasures Etc. But my question is. When will they come back. I tryed yesterday and still doesnt worked. Does anybody knows whats rong ? Is it a bug or something ?

I make a point of opening those whenever I have the time they are supposed to regenerate each month, well thats what I was told.

I did the two on on the start island yesterday with 6 characters who had all done them before.

Only have a couple of characters further into nightfall and they havn't tried any others recently.

i always look every 33 days and they always appear for me. if you check before hand they will reset to the day you looked

What are you talking about? I see chests all the time but they require keys to open. Or are you talking about special kinds of chests?

These "special" chests can only be opened every 31 days or so. Every time you try to open one you will reset the 31 day clock. The reason they can not be opened any sooner is because it is free money and items. The timer is set per character and not by account so open them again with a different character. Each time you open the chests there will be less money and soon the gold items will become purple items.

They are 'supposed' to regenerate every month, however; that said many people have not been able to get the treasures again even after waiting more than a month (some said they had waited as long as 3 months).
Its a mystery as to why some players can monthly get these while others are kept locked out. I noticed that some of my characters can do this monthly, others have had to wait longer (one is waiting for a 3rd month to see if thats her 'lucky' month).
Also if you check during that month, some say that that resets the counter back to day 1....so you would need to wait more than a month + to check before checking them again.

They where introduced in nightfall and only appear there, always in the same locations too.
Usually they produce gold items although some say they now give purple too.
These chests or sometimes burried treasure do not require a key.

Evidence suggests that how long you wait has nothing to do with it, except that a month looks to be the minimum length of time before the chests refresh. It's always possible that the length of time between openings could extend between visits, but no one has established a pattern.

There is likely another factor behind it. Time spent in game or experience gained, for instance. No one knows for sure, but I'm sure one of the devs let it drop that there's more to the chests than 'time elapsed' between visits. Most people were still spending a lot of time in Nightfall when the chests first appeared, and were still in NF a month later to report the chests were not once-off treasures.

It's also known that the quality of the treasure goes down as you go from chest to chest. So it's a good idea to leave newbie isle chests for last (if you want to go for them at all).

MisterDutch: There are a number of 'treasure chests' in Nightfall. They require no key, are always in the same location, and drop various goodies including money, jewels, gold/purple items. Visiting all the chests on one character netted me about 15k when they first came out. The contents of the chest refresh after a month or so, and you can visit them with all your characters.

So, it can happen that i have so w8 like 6/7 months ? Thats not fear

I don't know. If you really want to revisit chests in a hurry, you could always create a new nightfall character.

See, i dont want to make a charr to go to Torment and stuff, takes too long. They need to Fix this..

There's nothing broken to fix, its how the chests work. You could always just forget about them!
