To enter this special mini-game, speak with a new NPC—Bobby [Costume Brawl]—in the towns of Lion's Arch, Kamadan, and the Great Temple of Balthazar. Each profession has a corresponding character, so you'll want to join in often to try out the different characters.
After you speak with Bobby [Costume Brawl], you will enter the outpost for the Costume Brawl already dressed in your costume, with yours skills selected and your weapons equipped. From there, you will join the combat in one of two brand new arenas or two favorites from the Hero Battle series. Each brawl is free of Death Penalty, and each round will last ten minutes. At the end of a match, every player on the winning team will receive a prize.

So join us for this new Halloween treat. It's going to be howlin' good fun!

Cool, huh? At least it is something different....I was unsure whether they would upload the same code as last year. This shows that there is hope for continued GW content (for a while, at least).....we will see!

That said, I wonder if they are going to forego new hats this year.

Looks like fun. Need a new PvP slot, so this sounds like a good time to buy it, so can experience the costume brawling that I can't get from my PvE chars

Why would you think that? We still need something from the finale.
I for one would be majorly disappointed if there were no new hats, and some sure Anet know that.

I wonder if the "custom set" of skills are like monster skills or something(like argo's cry) or erk...the henchmen skill-set or the 5 skills a hero starts off with.

Dunno, just a hunch. Maybe they'll give us a reusuable item so we can keep on turning into the character for the event.

...this is so cool. Sort of gives you a feel for the bonus mission pack aswell because you can be a different character

Like the Everlasting Beetle Tonic but for those characters...

Same here, man! Of course, you would probably have to be in the top of the ranking for it (like in RollerBeetle Racing for Lightning mini), but still, that would be awesome. GJ Anet....I can actually look forward to Halloween (I wasn't looking forward to DragonFest...)

While this is all well and good now... if you read lower down the page it mentions that the battles will take place on hero battle maps and 2 new maps... I sorta get the feeling that these battles are going to be hero battles... Anyone else with me?

Hero Battles, RA-Style, so less intelligent teammates. Should still be entertaining since it's something fresh.

P.S. Plz Dragon Arena more need.
