Help with D/E build

I have the Sanctum Cay Crippler build for my dervish and I have a little trouble with energy. I'm refering to this build -

I have full Radiant Insignas on my armor. I also have the weapon it said was recommened, the Yakslapper. I think that I would get more energy if I used a Totem Axe and an offhand that has +12 energy and an extra 15 energy, but it has -1 energy regeneration. Do you think that it would work better if I used those weapons? PM me soon plz!

1. thats a crappy build. it wont survive the mesmer boss.
2. never ever use 15/-1 sets in PvE unless you a necro with HUGE SR

no you should have energy storage if you have mind blast. if you have energy storage, you should always have a target with lower energy than you.

That bar is crap but it works for Sanctum Cay runs believe it or not I used that like before it came out.

Optimally you want 8-10 in ES, and for a Mind Blast bar, you switch to a focus and wand that both have -1 regen and +15 energy, only when you activate the skill.
An additional 30 energy added onto already high elementalist energy is more than enough to get the bonus from your elite every time.
Unless you happen to be targeting another Mind Blast elementalist..
