Ok most of the people know that these areas are considered [elite] areas.
But wich one is considered harder?

Agreed. FoW you only need to know don't talk to the ghost at the beginning, then it's no biggie. UW you kinda need to know which quests to take and which not to.

And you wouldn't believe how many people still take the quests after being told not to.
Sometimes you can recover, sometimes you're screwed.

I think one, if not the main reason most people go to FoW rather than UW is that it's much easier.

I personally prefer UW.

UW I would have to say has harder quests in it, that is about it.

Is there kind of a guide book telling you which quests to take in which order for UW? My alliance is going to try to complete it soon but no one has much experience down there.

I never thought/knew that they were considered "elite" areas. They seem too easy to be "elite" - "master" level maybe. I find UW harder than FoW, but that may be just a matter of class and group dynamics.

Well, in their (FoW/UW) defense they have been around forever. Mostly everyone and their mom has had a piece by now.

Back when only prophecies existed they were the hardest areas in the game. Keep in mind there is no power creep of Factions/NF/GW:EN/PvE only skills. Prior to Tombs and SF being introduced, that was some of the only endgame content.

That's exactly how easy it is, ask a friend for to drop off 3 heros and you can easily complete entire FOW with just yourself and the 6 heroes.

Ehh, not everyone. Like i was saying, A lot of our guild and alliance members don't know how to navigate UW or know which quests to take in which order. And don't get me wrong, I've tried forming a pug down there with people who know what they are doing but all I hear is, "Hey, you're a rit! Are you looking for a two or 3 man farm?" ...-_-; This seems to be the only thing ppl do down there so new people like me have no idea what to do. Heck, I'd even pay someone to show me around down there and fill me in!

It's almost the same thing with FoW. I get my para into a pug but all they want to do is to get to the forgeman and thats it! lol, I'm sick of that part by now. I wish some pugs would go past that part.
