I assume the following is true from wiki pictures, but would like to confirm before purchase: Is it correct that the bandana essentially covers/replaces hairstyle so that whatever hairstyle the char had is simply gone?
I have a female monk with buns (hair buns ... get your mind out of the gutter), and I want to make sure they don't show through the bandana due to clipping etc.
Thanks!

Yeah, it replaces the hairstyle...which in my opinion makes most of the female characters look bald.

Yeah, I wish anet would take the time maybe to fix some of the head pieces :X and maybe a little bit of hair can be out. But that also depends on the hairstyles too.

Of all the head pieces that make the hair disappear, I think the bandanna looks the best. It looks like the character is using it to cover his/her hair.
Actually the ninja mask would look the best when thinking about disappearing hair.

My necro(in my avatar) looks like a girl when he wears a bandanna

I think the bandanas were meant for male characters because of the female styles of hair.
My monk with corn rows looks so much better with his bandana.
