Shadow Form + Sliver armor to farm the raptors outside Rata Sum (Riven Earth). You can get a gapless SF by killing the boss. It's about 120 points every 20 seconds. You can even charge if you want.. Just tell them to stay by the rez shrine, so they don't take your drops...

Hmmm, I wonder which would be a faster way to get 20,000 asuran points - farming, or by turning in a completed Hero's Handbook?
Or maybe 15,000 points by turning in an almost complete book...

I don't really know, but I suspect that farming may be quicker, but a lot more boring.

Arbor Bay is another good place to farm Asura points - lots of easy to kill foes.

I'd say it depends if you want to grind the same thing or not.

Hero's Handbook is probably about 6-10 hours work to finish depending how fast you are at clearing some of them. so if you can grind at about 2-2.5K per hour it's faster to grind. However, Filling the Hero's Handbook means you're doing a bunch of different things so it's less likely to fell like you're grinding something.

about the handbook, I've got only 2 dungeons in the handbook because I haven't really had the time to do them, and I was hoping a couple guildies and me could just spend a day running through a bunch of different dungeons, but thats not going to happen XD

I've read that going to magus stones and just clearing that in HM is good, but the Wind riders are incredibly annoying.

Would that Shadow Form (forgot SF was sear flames XD) + sliver work in HM or just normal? I may give that a go
thanks for all the imput

I've been running either Sab's necro build, or 2 SH eles and a Glyph + Boon Dunkoro. They both work relatively well, although you have to be smarter about aggro with the latter, as I've only been able to take out 2 mobs at the same time with the three necro build. If you're playing ele here I'd reccommend running Savannah Heat (not Searing Flames, it's too weak) alongside the SR whoring necros we've all come to love. For henches I take Eve (for Reaper's and BR), Zho (Evevn though he sucks, he's can theoretically interrupt), Lina, and Cynn (but you might not need her if you go fire). The Wind Riders are vastly overrated and haven't posed much of a problem to me so far. That linked mob of spiders in the southwest is much more threatening, as are roaming Krait or Hylek mobs since they have a habit of sticking close to each other in some areas.

the wind riders arn't so much a threat, they're just a bitch to deal with <3

I'm not familiar with the SR necro builds. I'm not a very...knowledgeable person when it comes to what builds are. I normally just throw skills in there and say it works

I do G.O.L.E.M., Curse of the Nornbear, A Time For Heroes, Assault on the Stronghold, Against the Charr, and Destruction's Depths then turn in the HM book for 9k rep. They're all quick (except for DD), get it done in about an hour, and you get an additional 18k exp and 1800 gold to boot.
