I hope the bold part is a joke.

There are programs that will let you see the content of GWs .dat file, but I'm not posting links here. Not all of the parts have been decoded yet, but some have.

Dont try that again. Even if you find a text program out their that can open it, it will crash your computer due to its size.

No, texmod pulls graphics out of memory, which is different.
