I had not seen this mentioned anywhere yet, but has anybody else noticed the AI on the Monks no longer has them using up all of their energy healing minions? Not sure of any other changes that may have been implemented, but this one is long overdue, in my opinion. Good job, ANet!
*Edit* After further playing with this, it seems to be most prominent in Eye of the North locations. I ran aound in Cantha a bit this morning and the henchmen there seemed to behave the same as always.
Monk Hero/Hench AI Change?

There has been no documented change to AI.

Oh really? I haven't use MM for sometime so never notice it.

Tell that to Mhenlo in Vizunah Square or Danika in Arborstone.
Even if the herohench got that change, they don't need it half as much as the aforementioned two NPCs.

Whether he's wasting energy on minions or not, Mhenlo is definitely stupider than before.
For example: Did Frostmaw last night with H+H using Mhenlo and Lina. Bunch of incubi drop down. Since I'm in front, they all target me. Mhenlo and Lina just stand there and watch as they pick me apart, without lifting a finger. Now, this was the start of a battle, so they both should have had full energy and recharged skills. And I was the only one targeted, so they weren't dazed, or kiting, or needing to heal/prot someone else. And I wasn't spiked down too fast for a response; to the contrary it took the incubi a good 10 sec to take me down from full health to dead. And all the while Mhenlo and Lina just stood there doing nothing. WTH? The rest of the dungeon was filled with similar experiences. I can't count the number of times that the party member clearly in the greatest need of monk attention was simply ignored and left to die, or the number of times that Mhenlo let party members degen to death after the battle was over. Is it suddenly that hard to throw up a LoD 5 sec after the battle ends to counteract people's degen? Apparently so.
If it would make him start healing the party again too, I'd love to have the minion healing back.

I'm rather surprised that multiple threads have been created concerning monk AI, but nobody has cared enough to say a thing about the unusual elementalist AI as of late.

You mean like when the Els run out of your bubble to agro a mob?
I wonder if anet is intentionally making the AI stupider to encourage us to either pug or switch over to GW2 when it comes out.
