Solo Farming Dead?

I have come to realize ever since the uber item drop nerf that anywhere I solo farm I can never get the same results as I used to be able to. Is there nowhere in this game left to solo farm besides elite areas or bosses?

*sigh* Farming is fine, you just have to adapt. Loot scaling does suck, but hard mode tries it's best to even things out.

Farm Ahm Fah, Jade Brotherhood, Undead, Insects... whatever. Just put a build together (or cop out and look one up) and run outside a portal in Hard Mode and see what happens. Rinse and repeat till you find the right place for you.

check out the farming section there is a sticky with all the various spots for solo farming for numerous professions and builds.

Hard mode soloing is still viable and maybe elite areas.

All Undead Farming was nerfed because of the easy use of the "Invincamonk". Other places that were popular, like Vermin, Plains of Jarin, and similars were nerfed because of eye of the north/nightfall skills that made it way too easy.

Not to mention the loot scaling, which is BS anyway.

Farming is useless, learn to run droks :P

i agree, look around and try new things. I have buddys who solo the last mission in GW:EN or the ice eles outside most of Gw:en

Core farming ftw.

Actually I think that doing dungeons (preferably Slaver's exile) would be MUCH more profitable and fun than farming.. At least way more fun...

I don't do extensive farming, but have been working on collector items for the Halloween event. The easiest, and most profitable spot I have found has amazed me, as I thought the loot scaling would drastically reduce what I pull in.

Undead outside Bergen Hot Springs, and inside Cursed Lands are easy to farm as an SoJ 55. One trip will take me about 20 minutes, and net me the following (rough averages):

1) 15-25 Decayed Orr Emblems
2) 150-300 Bones (big swing)
3) 100-200 Dust
4) 30-100 Tanned Hides
5) 2-10 Leather
6) 2-7 gold items
7) 10-15 purple items (lots of armors)
8) 2-3k (after selling non used items)
9) 1-2k after selling unused/salvaged golds

Makes a decent amount of money, lots of materials, and decent golds which I am using for the Wisdom title. Also quite fun to solo Vanquish the Cursed Lands

I have not done it for a while but I use to Solo Hard Mode farm the Muto Quest in Night fall (post nerf)

Lots and lots of dead to kill (I usually got 1-3 gold items and crap load of crap to merch and good chance for Material like Bone / hides / cloth)

Sustained my 15k armor addiction for a while.

Have to be from Elona and you cannot repeat the quest so it has to be active at all times
