Max armor on different req shields

intrested in tactics shields - although i assume its the same for shields requiring different attributes

I know that 16 armor is possible on req8 inscribable shields. So. im wondering what is the max armor that one can find on inscribabale shields with lower reqs??

Yup, all unmodded shileds have +16 as max nomatter which skin or attributeline.

The lowest requirement for max armor shiled is req. 7 whatever (but these are extremely rare and go for 100K+xx to +xxx ecto

I think it's requirement 7 that is the lowest you can get with max armor, just like the requirement 7 weapons with maximum damage

as far as i know req 7 max GOLD items only fall in Prophecies and Factions...I don't believe they fall in other areas...but I would imagine you can find req 7 blue/purple items with max stats that are inscribable. If color is not your thing look for one of these as they are generally cheaper.

He is asking what is the highest AL he can get on a Require 7 attribute INSCRIBABLE shield. Req 7 shields can drop with max (16) AL, but they are extremely rare, and not inscribable. Although I don't know for certain, I believe the highest AL you can get on a req 7 shield with an inscription slot is 14, may be 12 though. Going lower on the requirement will see drastic differences, but I think the lowest AL on a shield is 8, and that is with no requirement.

Inscribable shields with req7 and 15 armor are possible.

Ive heard of a no req armor 10 insc shield before, which would be wtfpwnage for casters, but i can't confirm anything, and doubt one exists

They don't drop anymore. Highest armor with no req is 8, and scales up from there.

Just to clarify...

req 7-12 = 16 max armor
req 6 = 14 max armor
req 2-5 = ???
req 0-1 = 8 max armor

That's just from experience - not sure if wiki has better data.

I've been trying to buy a q7 inscribable max shield for as long as I can remember, simply for the Mo/W stancer, as I assume you are.

I've spent more than enough time advertising, and I've never gotten a bite.
At this point, I use a bunch of inscribable q7 15AL shields. They get the job done very nicely.

I'm 99% sure that I gave a blue one of these to a guildmate a few months ago when I was farting around in getting my LB title.

I had no idea that they were that hard to come by...time to see if I can round it up.
