So,i am trying to find the best place to farm these buggers,so far i've tried

-gates of kryta
-nollani academy
basicly the spots with a huge spawn of low-level mobs.
anyone else has some effective farmspots for em?

outside sunspear sanctuary hard mode. level 20 or something bugs, any class with vwk and a +10 vs piercing shield is fine. not the fastest way ever to farm bags, but is hard mode and u get many gold items and few lockpicks.

tbh, i always foudn that for holiday stuff, you want big numbers that die fast, as compared to most HM areas these days. Zehlon reach has, what, 20 baddies? sure, you can get 7 golds, but also a max of 20 to bags.
i saw wammo the vermin for an hour. if your moderately not awful you can kill the entire run <5 minutes.

^^ that made me lol, I perfer Gates of Kryta and outside of Begen Hotsprings because the skeletons drop decayed orr emblems which can be traded in for halloween items.

Using my E/A build I get about 5-6 in 20 minutes, plus the occasional gold drop, chance at an Elemental Sword, 2k in gold drops, and other various goodies

I get ~5-10 in GoK with my Monk every 15 minutes or so, plus ~1k in drops, 1-4 golds per run, and the chance for a tome from the boss at the end.

i like Zelnehlun and his buddies in HM with an SS N/A. run past the first group of Ntouka, spawn the spiders, SS them through a wall. i get a ton this way.

I do the Skree nestling quest in nightfall from Mofuun. it spawns 26 skrees, i get atleast 3 bags and 1 gold from them a run. 1 run takes about 4 minutes in Hm. i do it on my 55.

I usualy get 1-3 tot bags per min doing the mino rezone farm in the top right corner of anvil rock on NM, can be done fastest with e/mo (g of ele power - inced bonds - pheonix) and w/rt (spinter triple chop + A rage) or rt/me splinter + a rage build.

I just farm Nebo's Terrace and Cursed Lands. Easy to do, and you can sell ToT bags and Orr Emblems once you are done. I got 17 ToT bags from one run through Cursed Lands (and part of Nebo's Terrace to get to Cursed Lands)

i farm grawl in Eastern Frontier just outside Ruins of Surmia.
Easy and fast i use 2 or 3 skills with N/A Icy veins+Vamp Gaze+dash for speed takes 2 mins to clean 0-5 ToT bags and a lot of grawl necklaces that you can exchange in Ascalon. NJudson

Until I read this post I was really getting to wonder why noone suggested outside of Ruins of Surmia. I've been farming crap over last couple years for Halloween and Wintersday and this area I've found to definitely be the fastest. I don't have Icy Veins yet, but I use a basic MM build. Build I used is Aura of Lich Blood of Master Animate Bone Fiend Deathly Swarm Mending Death - 14 (use sup rune) Soul Reaping - 13 Healing - 8 It is a tad slow at beginning, but once you raise a few minions you steamroll over everything quickly. Can clear the grawls outside of Surmia in a 5 minute run (maybe even quicker). Usually get about 3 ToT and 8-10 grawl necklaces on average.

Hi, I have tried a few farms and the most effective i've tried is the spiders N/A HM farm.
a run takes about 2 minutes The 14 spiders drop 0-3 bags per run ( generally 2 ) So it's 1 bag/minute !! but i have to try grawls , it looks nice

A good spot for people that don't have access to HM yet is right outside of champions dawn in NF. Legs, roots, and drake flesh drop (and can now all be traded). With any character the run takes about 2-3 minutes. Get about 1-3 bags every 2-3 runs.

I was soloing FOW the other day and every single monster droped a TOT bag, it was awesome. I got 30-40 bags in one run. (and all the obsidian shards ofcourse)

Grawl in the Eastern Frontier really are a great way to go. I use a fire ele, i go to the middle gather as many up as possible, then inferno or fire burst most to death, then kill the ulodyte's with immolate or liquid flame. The best part is, you can trade the necklaces in for Absinthe.
