I finally got away from pvp for a while, and got my "new", but made ages ago monk out of ascalon, and into the vast stretches of Tyria. I just noticed that, playing through a prophecies character is MUCH more slow paced than playing a factions character.
So i jus thought I'd start a discussion on how cool the prophecies storyline really is, and how much I'd be missing if i decided to never create a prophecies character out of convenience. Factions seems to get you lvl 20 characters soooo much faster.
So far from what i've seen after just getting to the ruins of ascalon, all the plot elements are quite well presented (esp compared to factions). I especially had a bawl roaming around with gwen =] (not that im into 12 yr old children -_-). But... the pace is woefully slow, although my opinion is slightly biased since im a weathered player.
Opinions? is the storyline worth it for the slow pace? would i b missing out on a critical party of guildwars heritage? or is it just something you would give a pass?

. NF has its goods, heroes are amazing, but you don't get much of party-playing experience out of it cause you are mostly grouped with heroes and henchies. I've only done 1 mish of the 20 with someone else. We both had 3 heroes. So you lose the party-fun in NF. Factions is a guest-fest. Proph is just all around awesome.
