There are a bunch of Reed Stalkers (Mesmers) about 5 seconds out of ToA, so just wipe them then rezone, rinse, and repeat

I'm currently farming Pongmei Valley (Kirins 'n' all) -> 0 tomes, however got some nice gold Axes and Bows

Yesterday I hit Pongmei Valley again, HM. Took a lockpick with me and there was Necro Elite Tome in one of them
Also got a warrior normal tome + Xuekao daggers.

I've been farming the Margonites in the quest "Battle of Turai's Procession" and got quite alot of normal Mesmer tomes (as well as warrior, dervish and monk ones).

As for normal Nerco tomes, I've gotten alot from the Undead in "Fahranur, The First City" (as well as warrior ones).
