Fevered Dreams/Temple Strike combo worth trying out?
longhornrob
I've got a Fevered Dreams sin, and I've finally found someone willing to run Temple Strike on their sin with me. I'm not sure what his build is yet, but if mine looks like the following, what would you suggest his look like?
[card]Fevered Dreams[/card][card]Shadow Walk[/card][card]Black Mantis Thrust[/card][card]Black Lotus Strike[/card][card]Black Spider Strike[/card][card]Twisting Fangs[/card][card]Feigned Neutrality[/card][card]Dash[/card]

So he would use 2 lead attacks? ( unsuspecting strike??? )
RPGmaniac
There are two assassins: one would have Black Mantis Thrust, the other would use a different bar that incorporates Temple Strike.
EDIT: I gotta learn to read, didn't read that Fevered Dreams is a hex, haha.

Yan dude learn to read the 1st sin has black mantis they would use the chain on same target dude.

I think it's kind of iffy. Replacing Unsuspecting with Black Mantis Thrust on the 2nd Sin frees up a skill slot on the first Sin. Also, when using Feigned I feel it's better to use Dark Escape i/o Dash as a cancel stance.

Two sins for one basic effect?
Seems a bit inefficient to me... and wouldn't the hexed target be dead from the combos too soon to make it effective?
If you want Dazed all over the shop, why not just bring a Broad Head Arrow Ranger with Epidemic?

Hmm, both very good ideas. With Dark Escape I wouldn't be able to speed across the maps like I could with Dash, though.

Cool idea but the only practical and effective use of this type of "duo" I've found is teaming with my guildy who's main is mesmer.
Easier for one sin to spam the conditions on a single target with Temple strike in the mix as opposed to splitting it between two Sins.I have quickly tried a similar idea to yours and it's really overkill, one sin should be able to spam the conditions and take out the target solo. You also have the other perk of having a good mes on your team and less reliance on hoping the other Sin is around. If you have any good mesmer's in your guild or as friends try it out. I'm kind of in agreement that the timing and execution of two sin's doing the same would be hard to pull off but I'd be interested to hear how it goes. Good luck. Sir Pandra Pierva
A good anti melee mess and a conditions sin ftw. The mes can also carry fragility and epidemic.

[card]Ignorance[/card] your build shows a lot of [card]Clumsiness[/card] Remove [card]Unsuspecting Strike[/card] Let the sin be /N and Bring Disease and [card]Enfeeble[/card] or have a necromancer cast those.
Your build deserves [card]Searing Flames[/card] because theres to much [card]Ignorance[/card] What Target will survive the [card]Onslaught[/card] long enough for you to get all those conditions, and if they survive then the build fails anyways, because 2 sin's should put a quick [card]Mark of Death[/card] on anyone and everyone. blurmedia

The timing isn't actually that hard as long as you are used to playing with the other sin in TA/AB/whatever. It doesn't even require voice chat - just the lead sin pinging "I'm using fevered dreams on whomever." The Temple Strike sin can then automatically go for the called target. Just don't jump the gun and give yourself away. Voice chat would help but I (and a friend) never used voiced chat for it. The main reason you have two sins is to keep up the damage with skills to mow the opposing group down and the shadow step abilities. There's different ways of achieving the same effect of course but this particular duo worked out well since it has some degree of self reliance.
I should probably add some sort of disclaimer that I have tested the build out and that I actually know the person who originally wrote the build for guildwiki before it branched to pvx and tested it with that person so my opinion may be extremely biased. The build was done with AB in mind so some skills would be replaced for TA since you aren't worried about hordes of enemies. Not a huge fan of this for TA though and I know people have done it in GvG for fun but only for fun. Take that as you will. ensoriki
I prefer My Dual assassins to be
Siphon Strength, And Shroud of Silence Dual sins >.> Or Dual Palm strike =P! Painbringer
If you are running dual sins better have [skill]Arcane Mimicry[/skill] this way you can grab it from your partner and use it when needed. Hate to have your target hit with it before your hex takes effect.

=P arcane mimicry Sweet.
Go do some Flourish temple strike builds =P |
