Help with nightfall - Cant find quests to do for First Spear Rank

Well I have gone to all locations I know ( Commanders post, Jokunar diggings,sunspear hall,kamadan) and no one there gives me any quests. I am level 8 and I need to get first spear so I can finish the primary quest but without any quest givers how am I meant to do it ? This is my second character but I stopped playing for a long time so I have forgotten alot but I am sure I didn't do the blessings and kill monsters to get the ranks.

Talk to a priest outside the ressurection shrine.

They will give you various types of hunts - for example an insect hunt.

When you kill insects (in this example) whilst the hunt is active you will receive a bonus 50% to experience as well as a sunspear point.

You can collect several of these hunts from various shrines, however if you are of too high level for the area or already have the hunt the shrine gives you wont get it.

Ok, I thought of doing this way and I guess its my only option. Thanks for the advice

Go to the wiki and search for quests. The click on Nightfall quests. Click on a quest that you know you haven't done, in a city you know you've been to. Check the requirement. It's easy to backtrack from there to get to the quest you need to get more quests. Sometimes you reach a point where a mission is required to get to more cities/quests.

You can find all you need to know about who gives them, where they are, and what needs to be done to get it.

Remember that you can also get some quests in explorable areas.

By just doing quest after quest, and by taking each and every bounty I could get, I was able to get to level 20 before leaving Istan.

The only thing I could suggest would be to go back to each town/outpost you've already visited, and see if anyone has the green '!' above their head. Take any and all quests they have to offer - most will give you at least 10 Sunspear rank points.
