Festival hats?

Is it possible to get hats from past events ever again or were they a 1 shot deal? I'd really like to unlock a few of them.. can they be traded//bought? I knowI wont be able to wear it if I get one this way, but will it be enough to unlock it to make a new one for myself?

Unfortunately you will not be able to get one from the past...there is no way to use someone else's hat to make one for yourself either.

I believe they work the same way as armour so are customised to the character that got them.

All mine are customised that way, I can delete them and go get replacements from the festival hat npc for any of my characters.

So you could get them off players but don't think they would be of any use at all to you.

You will be able to get replicas for some of them at upcoming events.
I recon
Antlers, snowman, jesters, wicked and pumpkin will probably be available at the future wintersday and halloween events.

Tengu, dragon, lionhead and demon from factions those I dont know if they repeat.

Yeah, I just wiki'd it.. I can get one in my inventory but I cant use the festival hat maker to have a wearable one because it's cusotmized for someone else. =\
