i dont know if any one else is tired of havening npc die and then failing the mission because of it. especially for hm.

that feature makes the missions somewhat more challenging when you have to worry about NPC's dying. Plus the Gyala Hatchery Mission bonus wouldnt make sense anymore.

Signed! OMG it's so irritating when you're in a hard mission, and like right at the end, and one of the stupid NPC's dies. It's bad enough there aren't any res shrines and if everyone in the party dies you have to start over. Not fair if an npc dies too.

Obviously it would be exempt from certain NPCs. And forget the challenging aspect of it- some of the missions are just downright frustrating if the NPC has a prerecorded script and charges away and kills himself, especially in HM. *cough*RURIK*cough*. Of course, loosening the script would also solve the problem.

Well, I would think that if the Eye of the North missions were created around the ability of NPCs to auto-resurrect, then other missions should not have that ability. If the developers planned for the auto-resurrection, then they would've had a good reason as to why. This could perhaps be a tougher environment or some other reason. If other missions were to have this ability, then they would need something changed as to make the mission more difficult, as auto-resurrection was not a part of the creation of the mission.

Oh no... I tried Hard Mode today for the first time. It was always something I had feared, thinking it'd be very, very hard. Like Legendary in Halo. But it's not. I'm surprisingly good at it. But protecting RURIK? One of the Leeroys of the game? I'm in trouble.
