Miniature Brawl - fight as your minipet vs 4 other players

You will get a fixed skillbar, that of your minipet. These will be "balanced" and offer a typical stone-papers-scissors setup for a random arena.

Imagine that:
Kuunavang owned by Whiptail Devourer!
Rurik vs Shiro.
Palawa Joko vs Lich
Gwen vs Charr Shaman

I do not suggest a 5vs5 capture point game like costume brawl, but rather a

"5 player free-for-all" type of gameplay for the Minipet Brawl. Everyone fighting vs everyone.

do players need to have the specific minipet to be able to fight as that particular minipet?

Kind of, if they've already had them as a birthday present and then sold them, then they could use them, but if they bought it then sold it then they couldn't. BUT if they bought it, and have kept it, if it's in there inventory, they can use it even if they bought it from another player.

I also don't think Anet will devote time to this, also with the rarity of some minipets it could make it unfair, unless you are bringing your own skills, then it would be pointless.

This does seemt o me an adaptation of Polymock, so maybe altering that so you could play agaisnt others with your polymock pieces would be more sensible and feasible to Anet

The idea needs some work, but I'm in for anything new.

I like the idea, but it will never happen because of China's laws against harming pandas, even virtual pandas. Perhaps if the panda minipet was excluded it could work.

Put the start battle option in the hall of monuments and only allow your dedicated pets to participate. The skill bars would need to be worked out and this is probably more programming time than the dev team has time for now.

Sounds just like a knockoff of Costume Brawl, but it's not fair as the richer you are, the better mini pets you can afford.

I think they'd all be made fair e.g. whiptail devourer(white)=Bone Dragon(green) as a ranger class(even if their skill bars are different).

sounds stupid, maybe if u could fight ur pet(with beast mastery skills) aagainst other peoples pets wich would also make beast mastery skills that little bit more important

Another novelty! Like Costume Brawl and Polymock! Will be played for 5 seconds until everyone realises that its an incredibly bad attempt to add "variety" to the game!

As the otherperson said, buy pokemon. Which is actually a reasonably good game. If you can forget the terrible TV program...

It is also a rather bad comparison. Pokemon works different than this free for all arena where you become your minipet.


The general idea is just to become your pet with a skillbar that is typical and fixed for this very pet and fight other players that play their pets. Make something of it.

Gee dude seriously I don't need this going to the elitist players who buy mini kanaxais to pwn evry1. Besides it would be pretty gay if gwen can beat a mini lich because gwens more expensive.

Despite that I can live with the regular minis who needs a kanaxai or mallyx?

ANet should totally release a quest named "I Wanna Be The Very Best" or "Gotta Catchem All!", where Team Racket comes out of nowhere and Mewth attacks you or something...
