I found this ages ago in normal mode on week1 of eotn.. was afraid to post after the last amazing farming method i posted was nerfed(The spirits in urgoz)... but im getting kinda annoyed with all my farming partners leaving guild wars.

So im posting it in hope of more teams willing to do this. Even though cores are now half price, with an average of 1 core each per minute, i think its worth it.

The team is
a 55 Monk Tank - OwUTMyXC5pecXXJRkIg8QfAQAA
Prot spirit
Shield of absorption
Shielding hands [For dragon]
Spell Breaker [E]
Mantra of Resolve
Blessed Aura
Essence Bond
Balthazars Spirit

a SS Necro Teleporter - OAdDUjxHP5B2gQzFCHeDTwOH
Spiteful Spirit [E]
Awaken The Blood
Dash
Recall
4x Optional + Pointless...

a Famine qz Ranger - OgMU0S7cRMPlPoz2B5IS0HgRZCA
Famine [E]
Quickening Zephyr
Edge Of Extinction
Serpents Quickness
Essence Bond
Mending
Jamais Gaze/heal other
Rebirth

Monk Usage - I found the best place for standing was a little crack in the raised cliff on which the dragon stands, infront of the dragon overlooking the destroyer entrances.
The skills are used as a basic 55 would use. Before entering your position, up the 3 passive enchantments on yourself. Maintain prot spirit, SoA and mantra at all times on yourself whilst maintaining agro, and use shielding hands on the dragon if he gets a bit of agro.Only use spell breaker once quickening zephyr has first been cast, then you can cast it as it recharges. And tank til your fingers turn blue...

SS Usage - The best way to avoid a big agro spill is to remain in sync with the famine ranger. When the ranger places down a Quickening Zephyr spirit, at that point should the SS use recall on the famine, before running in and casting SS on a mob on either side, whilst maintaining awaken the blood for the extra +2 curses. As soon as SS Has been cast, imidiatly cancel recall as a retreat. And repeat untill all is killed.

Famine Usage - The famine ranger has the easiest job. Use essence bond on the 55 monk, and mending on he SS necro before we do anything. Wait for the monks call for when the destroyers kill the first of the 2 closest dwarf scouts[Screenshot 1], before using quickening zephyr with serpents quickness. Then use the other spirits in a chain, and re-apply the first 4 skills as they start to fade out. When the SS casts recall on you, it is best to run back to the back of the level, so that the SS is maximum distance away from the destroyers after teleporting back, causing agro to stay on the monk. IT IS VITAL THAT QUICKENING ZEPHYR IS ALWAYS ON! so have a +3 +1 headpeice.

Once the monk or ranger is dead game over. If the SS Gets agro, he should dash around for a bit with recall on the ranger, and recall out randomly in hope of agro loss. Jamais Gaze on the ranger is to heal the SS if their is any damage taken to him, and rebirth is incase he dies.

Some screenshots to help you
The 55 will stand Here [The dwarfs standing infront are the ones the famine waits for]
The Famine and SS Will stand Here
The Famine Will retreat no further than Here

Good luck, happy farming.

-Note As of yet this hasn't been tested in hard mode. If anyone would like to test with me, please talk to me in game or post in this thread. Will need a famine and a SS. I will record a video to show those who aren't to sure of what to do.
-Note This is designed to only kill the first wave of destroyers, the point is solely for farming destroyer cores, and the quickest most effective way is to only kill the first wave. The second wave has dazed, and bleeding which leads to death.

if u dont find that needed necromancer, try the 2 man version.
55 monk tank and a QZ + Shield of Judgement ranger.

we did it for fun, only a few runs to test if we can find a build to farm that cores.
well, that worked like a charm in nm, did'nt test it in hm but should work too.
And it was build to kick the first wave only. resign, enter ...

Maybe: if u add a smiter to that, dont forget to fasten your seat belt.

dit: we too did that in the first weeks of EotN so i dont really know if there have been any changes to that challange that kills that build.

I found using a smiter was too slow, it was a mere 2-10 damage hit backs.
SoJ 2 Man did work, but we found it wasnt as effective as the 3 man.

Famine isnt actually needed, but it helps slightly and i couldnt think of an elite to replace it. SoJ as part of a 3man would only slow the ss down.
