hi, I don't know much about the whole marketwatch thing, I know I've used it a few months ago, but everytime I want to use it now, it doesn't seem to work.
I don't even get that chat window anymore.
anyone who can provide some useful information on this for me?

My AVP slammed the door on it with alarms blaring the first time I tried to use it. I haven't tried since.

It's a Java Applet, it runs in a Sandbox and shouldn't be able to do anything harmfull. What AVP are you running? Is it up-to-date?

I tried it, it loaded up fine and everything, but it seems as if they are re-writing the Java script to make it better:

With the new auction system in place at Guru, marketwatch's coding didn't work; to my knowledge they may (or may not) update the program.
