Odd damage mod....

While running around Cantha yesterday doing guardian, a celestial dropped a gold wooden buckler, non incriptable, for me. When I id'd it, it was hp+30 which was cool, but the other mod I thought was more interesting, it was armor +10 vs. dragons. It's strange, because I can only think of a few dragons between all chapters. Is this a common mod?

Ya i've gotten that before, its junk. There is some def mods that is only vs certain mobs.

I think you can but can someone verify that you can get +10 armour mods against everything you can get "Of Slaying" mods against?

It's not common, but if you look in GuildWiki you'll see that there are a lot more creatures that are considered "Dragons", than you might think. (Drakes, for example.)

where is a good place to find dragons?

There are several places to fight dragons, however they are rarely alone.

Perdition Rock in Tyria has a number of Drakes, these count as dragons.

The jade Sea has some Dragons.

Nightfall has some near the Rilohn Refuge, once again they are drakes.
