I just thought, why not try using an axe instead of a sword. I loved the following combination basics for my sword builds:

enraging charge, for great justice, flail.

I thought that these three basic skills could form the base for a nice new axe build. Can you guys help me out with creating a killer PVE build? Help me out with what skills to use, etc. etc.

Thanks alot!

What campaigns do you have access to first of all.
Second, have you even attempted creating or looking for any yourself?
Third, there are countless resources with listed builds ALL over the place (i.e. the very forum you posted in... ).
Fourth, you can essentially take any adrenaline axe build/skills and plug in the three utility ones you want to use, so very easy.

Here are even more PvE basic skill chains for ya..

Adrenaline - adrenaline focused chains
[skill]Eviscerate[/skill][skill]Executioner's Strike[/skill][skill]Penetrating Chop[/skill][skill]Disrupting Chop[/skill]
[skill]Cleave[/skill][skill]Penetrating Blow[/skill][skill]Penetrating Chop[/skill][skill]Disrupting Chop[/skill]
[skill]Whirling Axe[/skill][skill]Dismember[/skill][skill]Agonizing Chop[/skill][skill]Executioner's Strike[/skill]

or plug in anywhere.
Whirlwind Attack - a bit of adrenaline powered AoE for ya...

Energy - a bit more energy heavy chains.
[skill]Triple Chop[/skill][skill]Cyclone Axe[/skill][skill]Dismember[/skill][skill]Executioner's Strike[/skill]
[skill]Triple Chop[/skill][skill]Cyclone Axe[/skill][skill]Disrupting Chop[/skill]
Whirlwind Attack

Anyway, the list can go on and on and on and on. Any build that you use should never stay the same all the time. It should adapt according to type of enemies about to face, type of play-style you most enjoy, what type of equipment you have at your disposal, etc etc.

I have given you a good list of resources for anything you could possibly want to play as, so have a go, have fun with it, put forth the effort figure out which skills synergize well with each other, and the homework and experimentation will pay off!

Hope this all helped,
cheers

hmm... gaining adren twice as fast(for less than 1/2 the time) on build with a max of 5 adren needed to fully execute itself... vs. being able to immediately charge it every 20 seconds? and having a second cancel for flail?

axe warrior. Deepwound is hardly a necessity for PvE. So i only presented a few combos. Additionally, those attack chains were simply some examples for the OP. I would say my post was much more informative then you questioning my examples...

Btw, bringing 2 run skills is a waste, drop both and add Dash + FGJ! On demand cancel stance for Flail, and FGJ! gets ur initial attack chain up in no time...

@ the OP, to your original question after my post,
Yes, those combos are basic attack chains that are effective. However, ther are many many more you can create that are more effective, or excel in other ways, just follow those leads i gave you for research and experiement with different combos. Have fun with it!
