Um sry i dunno if i spelled it right but my question is:
1) is auspicious parry a useless elite for warriors?
I think its kinda inconvenient but i wanna see what others say...
Auspicious Parry - Elite
Exhonour
RotteN
it's a "niche" elite, it has it's uses as elite, but without it's elite status it would be way too powerfull.
It's nice on a split warrior in GvG, for extra survivability and fast adrenalin charge-up.
A PvE use i can think of is in the EotN Bison Tourney : auspicious parry + riposte = any melee attacker (including bison) is seriously screwed.

It's a niche skill, terribad for general use. Ideally, you should be spending your elite slot on a skill that can actually kill stuff in general situations.

Its normally used to provide adrenaline to Riposte builds, such as the one RotteN mentioned, but also more general solo farming use. Its useless in most situations for the same reason most tanking skills are useless: its function-less if no one is attacking you, and because the damage-causing elites are so vastly superior.

I used to have Auspicious Parry on my bar all the time until my playing style evolved. It's a great build to power low cost adrenaline skills in an instant like "Watch Yourself!" and also the perfect starter for an attack chain. Chances are, you'll get hit by something, so the elite has its merit. And remember, it can block any physical attack, which includes arrows and wanding.

It's really used for farming heavy hitting melle guys like Ssaki or Bison
Even then though I prefer Grenth's Balance when fighting a single enemy

If you could use it together with D-slash or any other ade attack skill, it'd be pretty good, but since you can't there's only a few places you should consider it.

Farming is basically it's only use, PvE wise anyway. Even if you're good enough to be able to hold aggro well, it's more fun to kill stuff with DSlash instead of letting the SF Eles do all the work.
