Would anyone else like to see cat ears as a helmet you can buy (like asuran glasses)? As long as Anet had a way to set the default color to be the same has your hair color, this might be kind of cool. Bunny ears, antenna, halos, horns, and other things like that could be other options.

its for variety + theres a balyclava (Didn't know how to describe it,nija mask maybe?) thats just for show,
more novelties like that will make character more unique, as glasses with make a character Distinguished bunny ears will make them look playful.
+ if there cat ears i'd make a char called hello kitty just for the craic, never seen it nor know what its about i can only assume a discussion about the shadowy future that awaits.

Sorry you appear to have caught the attention of the fundamentalist GW players.
It appears there is no fun element here.
Given that I like playing other races in role playing games anything that makes the character look other than human is good imo.
Elf?Vulcan ears rabbit ears heck even tails are ok with me after all its not as if its compulsary is it.

I think a better option would be to have some non-class specific headgear that has animal-inspired designs. Perhaps one helm/hat could have "ears", another could have horns, another wings, etc.
I don't think having a little headband piece w/ cat ears would fit correctly, but I'm not totally against armor pieces having some sort of ears...

op, were you in my dist for the 2nd coming of mad king in kamadan when i said in all chat i was disappointed we didn't get black cat ears for one of the halloween helms? XD everyone there liked the idea and got disappointed with me too it was a warm, fuzzy feeling. maybe that could be one of next halloween's hat ideas? hint, hint? 
oh, also i wear tails in real life. i want to wear a tail in this game too. heck, even if it is a charr tail--id still put it on one of my chars since i like charr when not in hard mode. but i am a rare case, so i imagine this won't go thru. i like the idea though. i support fur. lots of fur.
/signed for cat ears for next halloween and maybe some charr-type clothing items (ears, tail, face, whatever) in the armor crafter. that could go for asura and norn too, like something bearlike like feet/hand paws with claws and something asuran like one of those headdresses they wear + ears, gotta have their ears too or it won't look right.
edit: posted too soon, and forgot to add my bit about the dwarves. there are enough armor crafts at the central transfer chamber that make the other crafters look poor...so that's why i sign, i think there is still enough room and time to put at least 1 more fun thing for each of the other armor crafters in eye of the north

BTW, if you can't justify cat ears or bunny ears, how can you justify dragon hats, tengu hats, lion hats, witch's hats, pumkin masks, or reindeer horns?

and as for those masks being part of the ingame lore; whats wrong with adding Feng shui lucky money cat masks or Bast cat masks?

Halloween, Wintersday, Canthan dragon festival, year of the tengu, etc. Those are specific events that get masks that correspond. Cat Ears out of some kiddie cartoon porn don't fit into any of these kinds of festivals. Now, to "pierce that veil" would mean to introduce a festival specifically for Kiddie Cartoon furry porn. Guild Wars Hentai Festival? Guild Wars Anime Week? I don't think so. Halloween is a rather global event, same with "Wintersday" which embodies all the spirits of the holiday season without going into the religious Christian/Jewish/Etc aspects. A Cat Mask for a specific National Holiday somewhere in the world represented by a race or area of the current Guild Wars universe would be fine. A Headband with plush ears on it...no thank you very much.

They don't offer Hello Kitty as a cape logo.
