Green Drops

I know that the way greens drop is random but is there a system to farming greens at all or any hints to getting them.

Killing a boss without anybody in your party increases the chance of getting a green item. Also, I hear if you have to bring Heroes and Henches, you can flag them off the radar (when their names turn gray in the party window) and kill the boss yourself and you'll get the increased chance of getting a green.

My personal method is to just keep killing the boss over and over an over and over until it drops. If I'm lucky, it'll only take a couple of hours. If the boss is in a recalcitrant mood, it may take several hours over 2-3 days.

Farm it with heroes constantly.

There are a few bosses that can be farmed solo even in hard mode, my necro has had a fair bit of success.

When there is a weekend with increased drop rates for greens I could expect the boss to drop one about 1 run in 3 otherwise its more like 1 in 5.

Since the bosses I hit were a very short run from towns a run was 10 to 15 minutes at most.

Most I did with a Blood build heavy on degen and disease but a couple went down to waves of undead.

Or, if killing the same boss over and over sounds a little boring (which it is), just play through the game and/or do whatever quests/mission you like. Kill every boss you see. If one drops a green, sell it and use the gold to buy the green you want. (or trade it)
