Most Undervalued Memser Skill?

What Mesmer skill do you guys think deserves more attention? Personally, I would say

PvP: Enchanters Conoundrum. I've been using this skill in RA and I've been fairly impressed with it. If you leave it on a monk, their Guardian is bait and it takes more time to cast the precious skills to keep them ticking. But, the fun comes when you Shatter their enchants, and then smash them with Shatter Delusions! 180 damage, armour ignoring spike . In gvg, I can see this having less uses, but this skill is just too much fun for me to leave alone

PvE: Arcane Conoundrum. This skill slows caster-mobs really well. I love it.

Ether Fiest: yea I know but I don't see many "human" players actually carry this thinking the monk has got your back 100% of the time.

Illusion of Pain: has its uses in finishing off an opponent quick

Ineptitude: hmmm...142 armour ignoring dmge, and blindness for 10 sec, yes plz!
I think illusion mesmers probably carry this a lot, just there isn't many illusion mesmers in the first place though.

Ineptitude mesmers are pretty common in GvG nowadays.

I like phanton pain a lot to spike in pve, but I guess it's just too slow and obvious for a competitive environment.

Blackout, Blackout, Blackout!
Even if it gets used - it doesn't get used enough.

It's basically one of the most insane skills in the game.

The 3 elites most used by me, I don't know if they're undervalued or not.

Signet of Illusions. It's so good I sometimes wonder why not all mesmers use it!

Fevered Dreams.

If you can Daze/Blind/Weaken/Cripple/Poison/Bleed/Disease and crack the armor of every monster in a group... that's a big win!

Although I will admit it became useful only after the introduction of heroes. Getting three persons in a PuG changing their build and follow your orders is quite hard to do.

That's so tough for me to answer.
Eeeeeeee...I'm just gonna say Signet of Illusions as well.
In PvE at least. All you need is max FC and Illusion and any 7 spells you want to bring, your secondary's primary spells, PvE only spells, 7 spells from 7 different attributes. Whatever!
It's crazy fun.

Killing Shiro/Lich/Great Destroyer/Etc becomes millions of times easier with their skills locked down.

Not played it in a while, but if you use Shatter Enchantment on them before Delusions (assuming they only have one enchantment - but there's nothing to say you can't throw in Rend as well to make sure) you dish out 295 armor ignoring damage (at 15 Domination)!

Enchanter's Conundrum seems a little unloved, but then again, does seem to require a little "luck" sometimes.

Fevered dreams I would say, it takes a little micro-ing but if you can drop a virulence, burning arrow or broadhead arrow on top of it it's fun times.

undervalued? perhaps. however, it's oftentimes be better to improve than just simply appreciate.

so i dug up a video on youtube detailing exactly how to improve some of the mesmer skills we all love:

NOTE: THIS IS A JOKE. DO NOT GET YOUR PANTIES TIED UP IN A KNOT OVER THIS!

I know that video... The IW lightsaber is great, among other things

Personally, I think that Overload deserves a little more attention. Can make a very nice spike on a target when combined with Backfire.

Cmon, Overload is like the Mesmer's version of Flare. It doesn't even inturrupt

Cmon, Overload is like the Mesmer's version of Flare. It doesn't even inturrupt Interruption isn't the only thing mesmers are good at doing. Besides - at 15 Domination, Overload hits for 70 armor ignoring damage when you time it right. Follow that with 140 armor ignoring damage from Backfire (at the same rank of domination magic). 210 damage in total, and by the time most monsters in normal mode are ready to cast another spell Overload has recharged and can be used again for another quick spike. It's possible to take down a level 24 caster monster in 7 seconds flat like that without any damage support from the rest of the party.

If you prefer to interrupt, that's your preference. And in many situations an interrupt is more important than a damage spike like this. But, Overload is still quite a powerful spell if deployed in the right places at the right times.
