Hello all! I'm in dire need of a good necro curse build for Alliance Battles. >.< My currently build is..pretty much just randomly slapped together. >_>; I can kill people, but aslong as they don't have self heal. XD (I basicaly use Spitefull Spirit, and insidious(spelling?) parasite, which..usualy causes the enemy to dispell it, or run away untill it wears off. >_>; ) So yeah...and I'm too poor to change my armor for a specific build ATM, so I'm mostly a curse with a slightly lower-level blood build.
Sorry if this is vague. >.<
in need of a good AB curse build.

It's pretty good for keeping the enemy on their toes, especially when you cast SS in a large group. If they notice, they only run around and waste time while the hexes wear off. If they don't notice, they usually kill themselves and sometimes they take down a few of their allies with them.
It's a win win

you don't need the rez sig in ab, so imo you should replace it with a self heal of some sort.

*shrug* i use that build for RA as well and im just too lazy to tinker with it =P
Ace2001
The only problem with that build is that it has no touch spells/enchantment stripping spells, so how would you take on an Assassin using shadow form? (I've had two of those kick my butt lately) Or should I just try and stay clear of all sins?

More times than not, a Sin won't have SF in an AB...it's pretty much a death wish. Even if you do encounter one with SF, you'll most likely be dead within moments before you can cast enough touch spells to kill him. The only way to truly counter SF is to have a build that specializes in AoE, Touches, and Signets...and you better be able to pull them off quick.
Then again, if your a 55...it really won't matter.

Ah, thank you Lavans!

General purpose SS build for RA or AB:
Hexer's Vigor
Spiteful Spirit
Insidious Parasite
Parasitic Bond
Enfeebling Blood
Signet of Lost Souls
<Optional>
<Optional>
Curses 12+1+x(2)
Soul Reaping 12+1
For AB one of the optionals should be a corpse exploit. Especially Well of Ruin works good.
For RA obviously you must use a resurrection spell. As this is N/Any you can actually bring whichever you like.
A speed boosting spell/stance can also facilitate matters.
Malaise is strong in RA against monks. An interrupt might also be handy. In AB, not so much. Defile Defenses can be a stunningly powerful second cover hex versus rangers, assassins and some others. Rip Enchantment or Gaze of Contempt are also valuable.
Usage, straightforward. Remember to _always_ cover your hexes with Parasitic Bond. This is the major error most newbie hexers make.
Do not spread your attributes into your secondary unless absolutely needed. It will often create a weaker build. Ask yourself "what does X accomplish that Y does not?". The classic example is that if you pack Spiteful Spirit, you don't pack something like Empathy.
Good luck.

Ages ago when my Necro ventured into AB, i ran a basic SS build, Insidious parasite should be a good addition, and for those pesky 'Sins, try Hex breaker (mesmer stance) and Chilbains (haven't tried it since update, dunno if it would work against Shadow Form since it now needs a target).
