I'm putting out an official request for all possible farming options for Celestial Weapons. For the time being, I have been farming them with my Assassin from Vermin in Xaquang Skyway... and opening chests along the route too... but this is a seriously slow process, albeit a very safe one. I'm looking for a better option.
What I know is this:
Celestial Weapons drop from:
#1. Nahpui Quarter Mission
#2. Vermin in Xaquang Skyway
#3. Mantids in Waijun Bazaar
To the best of my knowledge... none of them can be 55-farmed. The Vermin can allegedly be Rit-farmed, but my attempts at using an echoed VwK build failed miserably (too much damage taken). Apparently the Mantids can be farmed by an Obsidian Flesh Ele build... but I know nothing more about that. Nahpui Quarter can be duo-farmed, but I'm more of a solo-farmer.
So the questions:
#1. Which is the FASTEST build for farming Celestial Weapons? (Quicker kills)
#2. Which is the EASIEST build for farming Celestial Weapons? (Most foolproof and simple maintenance)
Random note: I don't have any primary Mesmers, Warriors nor Paragons that can access the area (I have a Warrior, but she is aiming for LDoA in Pre-Searing, which puts her out of the picture for months).
Celestial Weapon Farms?

They also drop during the Mission Tahnnakai Temple and the explorable from the Temple Guardians; you may want to add that to the list of what drops them and where.
I'm not entirely sure about which one is fastest, but this one is quite easy to use against Vermin. Just replace two of the skills with Mystic Regeneration and Fleeting Stability.

I haven't tried yet, but I don't think it will be that fast with just those skills, also because you have to replace one of your damaging skills for either Fleeting Stability or Mystic Regeneration.
There is also a build for a 55HP monk, solely for farming Vermin, although it's not in Hard Mode (That's why I personally like the Elementalist one a little bit more). Again, this build utilizes Fleeting Stability so you don't get knocked down.

The 330HP Vengeful Spirit Bonder can do Nahpui Quarter in Hard Mode, but it seems like there was some update that made it impossible, or at least more difficult... I haven't tested it ever since that update too, I'm sorry.

I used to farm them in Nahpui Quarter with my 330hp Vengeful Spirit Bonder rit, but since the nerf it's way more difficult. The Star Lights cast Nightmare Weapon either on themselves or the Star Blades immediately now, where before they would only cast when their health was low. I've been playing around with the build slightly to try and counter it, but so far it's a no go.

Firstly, the nightmare weapon thing have been there forever, so no, it hasnt been nerfed. I farm the mission with my 330hp rit in HM and I never die. Some mission I run without nightmare weapon being cast a single time, and sometimes it happens right through. Its pure random chance. It is very easy to manage with the build.
[skill]glyph of swiftness[/skill][skill]obsidian flesh[/skill][skill]aura of restoration[/skill][skill]armor of earth[/skill][skill]stoneflesh aura[/skill][skill]stone striker[/skill][skill]mantra of earth[/skill][skill]sliver armor[/skill]
The safest, though slowest build for Vermin in HM. If you can e-manage efficiently, replace stonestriker+mantra of earth with [skill]essence bond[/skill] and [skill]obsidian flame[/skill].

105 Necro/Mo or Monk/N can easily do it
Spoil Victor, Life Siphon, Prot Spirit, SoA, Heal Breeze, Essence Bond, Balth Spirit and and optional one...Maybe Blessed signet
Just start by attacking the Star Lights first and dont attack anything else until they are dead. If you do this, they will not cast nightmare weapon at all.
Very decent drops is HM, especially all the feathers you can get from there.

There are many ways to counter Nightmare Weapon as a 55. First of all, you should be 105-135 HP, and you can use [skill=text]Insidious Parasite[/skill] and/or [skill=text]Spirit Bond[/skill]with low armor to heal through the life steal. It's probably best to avoid hits altogether. Use walls and corners. Just practice.

can farm almost all but the Rits , I was trying with the smiter + 600 and it works , instead of echo or mantra etc, bring Spirit Shackles. Kill the party and leave the Rit last, then cast spirit shackles on the rit till he runs out of energy and he will die xD.
Only issue with this build is passing the bosses :S
