Hey all - there was a guy selling a Furious Sephis Axe of Fortitude for 4K, but the item is listed at only 292 gold. What's up with that?
And I'm finally starting to find some non-generic weapons from mob drops - just little stuff, like Req4 bows and axes, but I was wanting to sell these to lower level players but they're valued at about 16g on the in-game dialog. Surely they're worth more than that, right?
Do you not go by what the game says it's worth?
Quick question about pricing weapons

No. If you went by what the game says it's worth, then you would just simply sell it to the merchant.
People can charge higher than the merchant price when other people want to obtain that weapon. That's why you'll see some of the very rare weapons going for much more than 4K...if it is hard to obtain, people that are selling it will realize that and will charge a higher price accordingly.
To use a real life example, a three-legged Buffalo head nickel is only worth $0.05 if you try to redeem it for its face amount. If you find a collector who is willing to buy it, you can easily get $100.00+.

Ah. Thank you VEEEEERRY much for that. So do you use the Wiki to price weapons or what?
Jetdoc
Wiki really doesn't have any pricing information.
Our Price Check forum here is a great place to start...
