Powertrading

Hi guys .
I'm trying to earn money for FoW. I have about 500k now, all earned by farming (UW/FoW and such) the past six months.
However, I've heard people say they earned the money for FoW in a month, or less by powertrading. I understand the basics of it, buying low/selling high, but I don't really know with what items I should trade, or where (forums/in-game).
Could anyone help me out?

Almost all powertrading sales occur in forums, and most purchases are made in game.

Honestly, there are very few items that would truly qualify as powertrading anymore. Most of the powertraders made their hordes of cash prior to the introduction of inscriptions (or at least before many of the Tyrian skins were made available in inscriptions).
