More long-haired characters

I see a lot of male characters with long hair running around. I'm not a big fan of that, but that's not the point of this post. Every time I go to create a character, the first thing I notice is the hair. And very few female characters have long hair. Many short-haired ones are fine, but some are downright ugly and should be replaced with long hair.

The only female professions that have long hair (not pulled up that is) are the ranger and dervish. Well, I guess the ritualist does too, as does the assassin, but that's like one hairstyle out of the bunch. And they look good, but I'd think a nice long-haired mesmer or elementalist would be cool (along with the other professions). Just for a little more variety. What does everyone else think?

but then people who would have chars post update would be annoyed that they can't change the hair since now thre is more variety.

I think the problem is the animation. Maybe I am wrong. But arent most of the long haired skins in pony tails and the like?

I would like to see it. So /signed but I do not think they can do it. Can anyone correct me with the pony tail thing?

To be honest I'd like to see all hairstyles for all classes, with the obvious exception of male//female.

The longer the hair, the more likely it is that the hair will clip with armors and capes.

I'll agree with it as a GW2 idea.

Unless Anet has a change of heart and adds stylists to GW. Then I'll agree with it for both games. They could add it without a stylist, but then everyone would have either buy a char slot or delete their chars to change char's hair.

Ew. We didn't even have any short male ranger hair for Prophecies.

I wish they had less clipping tbh.

And add more Hairstyles to the Hairstylist^^!
Why can't Anet mak Hairstylists?
I has been like 2 years people wanting for that, and then it'll be 3^^.

Long hair existing in the game doesn't wave around like it should when you run, and it clips with armor. Staring at the back of the character, you're going to notice it on occasion.

/signed if they can do it without clipping on ANY armor....and that's not going to happen...not after the fiascos from GWEN and Anet's strong position of not giving a damn.

Paul from Tekken would have been a better choice.

It'd be nice if they made like... hats that you can wear but instead of it actually being a hat, it's like wig. I don't see why they can't do this, they already have some event hats (i.e. the 06 halloween witch hat) that replaces a character's hair completely.

It would work like armor though... so say a warrior wig won't display on a non warrior... but then that probably won't work as armor pieces are unisex.

This probably won't happen, they want people to buy more slots.

I killed my ranger (when NF came out) of which I spent close to 500k on because of her hair... (and don't tell me to make sure I like the hair before I made her... that argument doesn't hold) There was no way of me knowing there was going to be awesome hair available in NF

They added hairstyles later to Prophecies... why not to the other two?

Long hair = clipping, yes, but stuff clip (i.e. Dragon Gauntlets) anyway. Anet hasn't fixed any of that and you'll just have to live through some clipping anyway, so why does it matter.
