Wonderous Drunk-o-Meter!
JumpingBean
EDIT BY FAER - Please keep in mind that no discussion of botting, macroing, or otherwise obtaining any title by automated means is to be discussed in this thread. We don't supoort such things here at GWG, and we wouldn't want to be blamed for you people getting banned over it in-game.
I have a suggestion, if not for GW then for GW2 assuming alchohol is still involved. Some of us like to "stay high" and not let our level of drunkeness fall below level 3, but when you are drunk it is sometimes hard to tell just how drunk you are.
So I suggest a Drunk-o-Meter breathalyzer that appears (perhaps as an yes/no option) when you imbibe so you know just how drunk you are before you get behind the sword or staff.

enter the crybabies who want their titles to stay the way they are because they're supposed to be hard.
Although this title is far from hard, just have to try not to fall asleep while doing it. The answer you're going to get is to keep your title window open, hit 5 points of booze, then do a 1-point every time you see the counter go up by a minute. You have a minute of leeway so you're not sitting there doing nothing hovering on the next bottle.

I have the title myself (so I would be one of those "cry babies") but I support this idea. Staring at a watch every 3 miniutes is the exact same thing. It might as well be in game.

Suggested before, I signed it then and I'll sign it now.
I dislike the fact that there's no fullness limit determining how fast you can earn sweet tooth, but somehow there's a cap on booze. If we must take all that damn time to drink, at least let us monitor it with something besides the unorganized title track window.
Edit: Scroll down to MithranArkanere's post. An effect icon would be perfect.

There's another thing to consider, we now got "Drunk Skills", being Drunk is now more than just a title, it affects the PVE Gameplay.

It would be nice to have, since sometimes I'll get into conversations in town and lose track of when I need to take a swig, *hic* It's really rough when your drinking while holiday events (MAD KING THORN) are happening and everyone on TS is yapping away (we do have some fun conversations)

It's not THAT hard to tell how smashed you are by the screen distortion.
Besides, who really knows how smashed they are IRL? Certainly not all those drunk drivers out there.

Effect icons. I'll say it again.
Drunk status need effect icons!
Not everyone can use the PostProcessing, don't be selfish.

I'd go for an icon showing drunk level. Anet really ought to make this title less asinine than requiring someone sit IRL and stare at a watch, otherwise they make a bot of a human player. I dont think an icon makes the title really any easier, it just means you can actually play a bit while doing it, rather than be an automotron IRL.

Now that we got skills that use this effect, you have to follow a clock or keep the titles menu open... isn't that a bit too much?

My request was not so much for title-gaining aids (if you are going for Drunkard w/o using the warp trick I've read about then I think you'll be downing drinks often enough that estimating a minute of gameplay and when you need to recharge will become rote), but more a humorous addition to the game. Also a handy reference for the new dwarf skills that are more effective when you're drunk.
I'd be ok with a simple "Yes, you are (a) drunk" icon, but I thought an on-screen, steampunk-ish breathalyzer would fit with the sometimes tongue-in-cheek humor we find throughout this game. Could even be a gadget that eats an inventory slot for those who find it worthwhile to use.
Then again, if difficult to implement I'd rather see them spend the time on GW2 so it's released on schedule... was just a thought.

All the other consumables with effects have effect icons.
And being drunk is a condition more than anything else, used for some skills.
Either an effect or condition icon should be used for the 'drunk' status.

However I'd just settle for a simple icon with a little cooldown bar just like every other condition in the game. Is that so much to ask for? Make an icon that always has a 5 minute max Time limit, so if you only drink a level 1 drink the status bar only goes to 1/5 full. That's enough for even the laziest would-be drunk to utilize.
Drunkard is certainly inordinately more difficult to obtain than sweet tooth. I guess a.net just doesn't want to be perceived as promoting alcohol consumption.

drunk icon that works like bleeding, curses etc.

He means to use the warp effect of the screen as reference.
For players with a bit lesser graphic cards, using postprocessing to enable the drunk warp effects it's a nuisance.

I never can tell when I'm drunk enough, just to try and save a few k on booze to get that title. A meter would be awesome!

Waah... way too complicated...
More reason to add ither an effect or a condition status for Drunkar.
An effect would be better, since it won't be removed with condition removals.
