New Hero thing

so like in KotOR there is an ability to toggle between which character you are using at which time like you can switch from the exile to atton or whatever well, i think it would be good if you could switch with your heroes and your own character.

Thought of that before too^^.
Dunno/forgot, if I posted it.
But mine was you are able to create you'r companions as said in GW2 and you can switch places with you'r companion I also suggested companions can be pets, and not only rangers can use pets.

Change control... That can be done in Granad Espada and ROCKS.
When you trade control with a AI character, the previous one is controled by AI and you manually control the next.

So when you need to focus on healing, or taning and such, you can do so by chaging controls to that one.

Hero Battles would turn REALLY interesting.

I agree. That would be kinda cool. Lots of games are doing this sort of stuff now (Jericho Squad, KOTOR, etc). Doubt it would be implimented, or if I even REALLY want it. Still, sounds cool. +points for creativity

I agree =], everytime your hero gets out your range... its in the lap of the gods. ..
But it'd be a complete rework of the game interface it seems =/

It would be really cool to do this, right now the best you can do is die switch to a heroes perspective move them with their flag and control their attac target and choose them to use skills.

What would be even better is because of the new heroes technically you can play as a Charr, a Asura, a Norn, a Centaur and Gwen.

very interesting concept...one can multitask now, if your tired of killing, switch to ur hero monk, lol...

then again, this would increase the market value for weapons and runes/insignas witch is good for guild wars as the prices are crap nowadays...because more people would buy full set of runes and insignas for their heros now and wont give them crappy weapons =)

It would also be great for play testing hero builds, especially when you do not already have that kind of profession as a char.

Well a button or 3 would be all the interface needs probably, switching control on the go as far as game mechanics go might get a little hairier (sp?) tho..

Theres also the issue of being able to switch to a hero and use 'pvp and hero only' skills aquired from priests of balthazar.

that would be cool...ties in with the using existing characters as your heroes idea nicely too.


still not as good as 7Heroes though.

I would love for ALL of my group when it's me and my heroes to be all computer AI and I just point them in the right direction an input commands as necessary. Lol I've become a lazy gamer and this would be an excellent addtion to the play for me so I can just point and click.
