I remember farming griffons in the desert with my guild leader for HOURS so he could get the refund points to un-gimp his character. Hahahaha fool.
And no rune traders. Or was it that I couldn't find them? Possible.
And small tiny storage! that wasn't even long ago.
And ditto on the first time seeing Lion's Arch.

I remember when there was the first x-mas event and we were with guildies spamming and dying in front of Grenth.
I remember when we started a decent pvp-guild and we had boon-prots as monks.
I remember when I first time went to Primeval Kings with my pve ranger.
I remember when crip-shot R/Me flaggers were killing machines.
Nowadays I don't have interest of playing GW because i know too much about game, lol.

I remember when;
It took less than 2 mins to get a full PUG party together for any Mission & Bonus.
I made a killing on the "stockmarket" buying trader black dyes for 4.5k when the price dived then selling them for 20k+ when the price shot back up (never figured out what caused the fluctuation).
I used to play the commodities market by buying charr hides > Trading for fur squares > Sell fur squares.
There was also wood planks/plant fibres > Craft parchment/linen > sell parchment/linen.
That way I made 100k (the first and last time
) then the market was "adjusted" and overnight I was redundant!
I stumbled upon breathtaking scenery when in the middle of nowhere e.g. The waterfalls that give "The Falls" their name or cinematic places like Majesty's Rest where the Sceptre of Orr was found.

Yeah, you cant relive gaming memories, even if you try, you already know too much and wouldnt really enjoy gimping yourself.
simply put, necromancer forming pug with two rangers and warrior to do altheas ashes /and suceeding ... duh/ is kinda unreplicable.
First time in prophecies before wikis existed, figuring out missions, bonuses and skills, refund points making you fine tune build over long time instead of scraping it immeditally. Buying minor rune for 2k and getting good deal of it.
Time when doing galrath without deaths was big thing worthy of thread in public forums and when you wouldnt dream about henching stuff. Fist piece max armor, first max weapon ...
Even starting new class in NF didnt really work out: you know what works, and set up decent build immediatelly, when in doubt, you got wiki /if you are rushing, you are the one to discover stuff and to write article about it, thats closest you get to experience early proph days/, you dont dream about playing with other players and you have decent amount of cash waiiong for you in storage giving you acces to best stuff from level 1.
cool days of stuff like droknars being exciting location are gone, rip.

I remember when:
- You couldnt chose what to salvage from an item, and instead of the +30HP you salvaged 4 wood planks^^
- Finding a gold weapon was something special and everyone in the party went mad.
- Sup Absorption Runes were 80k and Sword Pommels of Fortitude 100k+xx
- You could attack more than 3 enemies at once and they wouldnt flee one by one
- I first reached Lion's Arch in the Betas
- Runes looked like that:
- Oh yes... Attribute Refund Points
Will try to think of more
