Dear Anet,

Please make sigils stackable.
I don't feel like selling them because I have a full storage and I don't feel like investing the money in something else because of the risk involved. I dont see any reason why they shouldn't be stackable so please do this. Also to increase the value of sigils you might want to consider guild hall upgrades being paid with in sigils instead of gold. I feel its a waste of my storage space to have 3/4 areas of it filled with just sigils.

they are not stackable to prevent hoarders like you from simply stacking them and creating an artificial shortage to frive the prices back up to the 50k-75k they got before Anet trippled the drop rate

no way sherlock just no way

Bingo, runes and sigils and a few other things aren't stackable to prevent artificial inflation by people hoarding items (think about what happened in Everquest with apples).

Sigils are far away from a shortage, anet should be concerned with how many sigils there are as of now rather than how many there wont be. This is why I wanted guild hall upgrades to also be bought with sigils so there will actually be a demand for them. Counting the no opposing parties, there are about 100 halls wins per day and about 3 sigils are dropped from the chest per win.
thats 300 sigils a day, I guarantee you there aren't 300 guilds changing guild halls every day.

it should cost alot to have these, its ridiculous how one weapon can cost more than AN ENTIRE GUILD HALL.

that is because morons are so barbie epeen willing to bid something up just so they can say *i have it and you dont*

a hall gives you a place to meet and Anet flushed out the hoarders by increasing the drop rate from 1 to 3

im in a similar situation like amazon in which half my storage is just sigils, having them stackable will save me SO much room cuz i really dont wanna sell them..

Weapon mods, inscriptions, sigils,....

Almost everything other than weapons and armors should be stackable imo.

Just to get things straight the intention of this isn't to rise the price of sigils but to make them able to stack. People that want to keep sigils are already doing so but sacrificing room in the process, therefore sigils wont be "hoarded" any more than they already are.

I too have this problem... stackable sigils would help me get some room in my storage, and it would be very very much appreciated. I just wonder why no one came up with this suggestion earlier.

I wouldn't mind seeing this change. People who win Hall's too much deserve this because there isn't that much storage if you don't want to sell sigils at that time and place.

At the moment theres a pratctical limit to the amount that can be kept (otherwise why are you posting)
If they become stackable there will be space for 20,000 just in storage. If anyone ever horded that many it would push trader price up and then they could sell for +100k each to start with

ok fair enough, i still think a hall should cost at least 50k though, thats not alot for a whole guild.

On original topic, i dont see why not, theres plenty of sigils to go round since it drops 3 times as much so why not.

You can sell sigils now at the sigil trader for praticially nothing if they are taking up all your storage and inconviencing you. Trust me, they won't be going up again in price anytime soon. If they are inconviencing you, you can sell them. If you don't want to sell them because you want to make more money off of them... tough luck, because that is your choice to do so.

Can they change the amount of the stack? Personally, I think common crafting items should be 400/500 a stack anyway, but that's an argument for another thread.

Can they make it so you can only put 10 sigils in a stack, or is that fixed code so it's 250 or not at all?
