Martial
Background
Martials are incredibly strong hand-to-hand combat artists. They use a variety of punches and stances to defeat their opponent out of sheer flexibility and speed. Also known as exhausting combat, in which a large part of the Martial’s combat is based on endurance.
Basic Statistics
Max Health- 500
Max Energy- 30
Max Armor- 60 (+10 vs. physical damage, +10 vs. elemental damage)
Max Weapon- Demon Bracers (3-49 damage, +20% while in a stance, +20% while under the effects of a hex)
New Stuff
Bracers-
Weapons that are fitted onto your forearm, magically enhanced to strengthen the user’s knuckles to withstand force of impact. Also can be magically tuned to inflict different types of damage.
Guard-
This is a type of hand placement that allows the Martial to gain greater damage or speed with punches and dodging or blocking. Only one guard can be active at a time.

Attributes
Endurance- (Primary Attribute)
Decreases the amount of energy you spend on guards, stances, and punches while in combat by 1% per point in endurance.
Fist Combat-
Increases the damage done by bracers and the power of punches, for each point in this attribute, your punches gain .1% armor penetration.
Defensive Combat-
Increases the ability of the Martial to defend himself/herself in combat, mostly consisting of stances and guards.
Open Palm Combat-
Includes some of the most devastating powers of the Martial, very powerful punches that can sometimes be a double edged sword.

Endurance
Primal Focus- 5 energy 12 recharge
(Stance) for 10 seconds, you suffer -5…15 damage from all sources but inflict -5 damage.
Fist Combat
Focuses Punch- 5 energy 12 recharge
(Punch) if this attack hits it strikes for +5…35 damage. If target foe would block this attack, that foe is knocked down and struck for 5…20 damage.
Jab- 5 energy 2 recharge
(Punch) if this attack hits it strikes for +5…20 damage. If you are in a stance this attack cannot be blocked.
Chest Strike- 15 energy 14 recharge
(Punch) if this attack hits, it strikes for +5 damage for every condition and hex on target foe (maximum +20…+35 damage)
Repeated Strikes- 15 energy 12 recharge
(Stance) for 30 seconds, your next 1…10 attack skills have 1…30% armor penetration.
Deadly Strike- 5 energy 14 recharge
[Elite Punch] if this attack hits, it strikes for +5…45 damage and inflicts bleeding for 5…25 seconds. If this attack misses, you and all nearby foes take 5…40 damage.
Deadly Accuracy- 5 energy 20 recharge
(Stance) for 5…10 seconds, your melee attacks cannot be blocked or dodged. Any time you would be blocked or dodged, the blocking foe is knocked down.
Defensive Combat
Basic Guard- 5 energy ½ cast 12 recharge
(Guard) for 20 seconds, you gain +5…15 armor and +5…30 armor against physical damage.
Sidestep Guard- 5 energy 1 cast 24 recharge
(Guard) for 8 seconds, the next spell used against you has no effect. If a spell is negated, all enchantments and stances on you refresh for 5…10 seconds.
Injured Defense- 10 energy ¼ cast 8 recharge
(Guard) for 10 seconds, if you are affected by a condition or hex, you have a 30…75% chance to block attacks.
Advanced Guard- 15 energy ¼ cast 12 recharge
[Elite Guard] for 30 seconds you gain +5…40 armor against physical damage and receive 10…50% less damage from spells. This guard ends if you are knocked down.
Weave- 5 energy 4 recharge
(Stance) for 5 seconds, you gain a 75% chance to dodge attacks. If you are hit, you suffer 200…30% more damage then you would have otherwise.
Counter- 5 energy 12 recharge
(Skill) the next attack against you is blocked, the foe you are currently attacking takes 50…120% of the damage from the attack you blocked. (Ex. If that attack would’ve done 100 damage the foe takes 120 damage at max).
Shuffle- 5 energy 24 recharge
(Stance) for 20 seconds, you gain a 5…70% chance to dodge attacks. If you are hit, you shadow step directly out of your current earshot and this stance ends.
Open Palm Combat
Snake Stance- 5 energy 12 recharge
(Stance) for 15 seconds, every time you hit with an attack skill you inflict 33% less damage but also inflict bleeding for 5…10 seconds.
Rib Jab- 10 energy ½ recharge
(Punch) this attack strikes for +5…30 damage and inflicts a deep wound for 20 seconds. All your other punches are disabled for 5…2 seconds.
Sword Block- 5 energy 6 recharge
(Skill) for 8 seconds, if you are struck with a sword attack, that attack is blocked. If you are attacked by another source you gain 1…5 energy.
Divine Twister- 10 energy 46 recharge
[Elite Stance] for 3 seconds all foes attacking you in melee take 5…45 damage and are knocked down.
Ferocious Punch- 25 energy 14 recharge
(Punch) this attack strikes for +5…60 damage. You suffer from exhaustion and bleeding for 10 seconds.
