Never been reported for anything at all.. ever

Then again I've never talked or behaved badly in game either. Worst word I think I've ever typed is Damn.

Nothing wrong with the /report system though. If you never give anyone a reason to use it on you, then there will never be a problem.

I don't regulate my language at all. If people don't like it they can turn on the chat filter.

I was only banned for an inappropriate character name once. I probably should have been banned quite a few times for a dirty mouth. I've become a bit more cautious now with instantaneous reporting. Before most people couldn't have been bothered to take a screenie and go through all the crap with support just to report one person.

Well, first: There is a language filter so "joke'em if," but I try to guage the age of the person I am playing with by their attitude, language usage (grammar as much as anything else), and personal remarks. If they say, "Well, I got to go to work in an hour" I have a major clue.

What I find amusing is the times people get upset or complain they are objecting to common words used in regular description of a current event which they misconstrue into meaning something outside of game. Turning things into allusions to what they are not. Which only tells me who is thinking more where...

As far as I know, I've never been reported for inappropriate language.

Personally, I think that people only use bad language when they lack the vocabulary to express themselves in a more polite, eloquent and articulate way.

Hardly ever swears a big, big D...

Actually, I don't lack the vocabulary at all. It seems to be a matter of how irritated I am. If I am exceedingly irritated to enraged I somehow bypass all the bad words and become much more vicious than any set of bad words could ever begin to equal. If I am still using bad words, then I am only frustrated and mildly angry.

My guild is worse than anet imo, they dont allow 'ass' or 'omfg' on guild/alliance chat(even when you miss an infuse...).

Then the guild leader uses dick....bloody double standards

That's a nice theory, but the reality is clearly otherwise...

Never been banned for language abuse.

I don't usually bother regulating my language; there's a filter for this. I choose to turn it off, and I've never been reported for swearing. Let's just say I don't PUG much more nowadays, my guild/alliance doesn't care about it either, and our new members are aware we aren't PG13 material. I've never been fond of censorship myself...

So as long as you're not offending another person, I'm good with it. And that's why people who use the N-word (GRAH hate censoring myself) and say something/someone is "gay" as in "stupid"... I tend to warn 'em they're playing with a gay guy. Most of the times I get apologies right away; other times I get insulted more. Annoys the hell outta me.

As far as I know I've never been reported. Or if I have it didn't result in a ban.

But then I don't generally cuss in local/random Pug's. Recently I was slightly drunk and watching "Withnail and I" while playing and I shouted out a rather vulgar quote for some reason I couldn't properly explain now. I got a few o.O kinda emotes. Thank you for not reporting me, Halloween celebrators!

Anyways, chat filter exists for a reason. If you turn it off you're not exactly in a position to report anything. At least to my way of thinking.
