What's Up With Glaciel Griffin??

In early October I did the mission with my Derv by using Ranger secondary with Apply Poison and a bow with Poison lasts 33% longer.. When I did it then, he did not Regen his points back and after about 30 min he died off.
I tried the same as above with my Paragon character yesterday and he Regenerated his points back faster than I could take them Has this been nerfed so he now has health regen or was I just lucky the 1st time I did it??
Any help with a build for Paragon to slay this critter would be appreciated.
I saw several other builds asking how to kill him this weekend also, and that's why I am posting this. Thanks..

Try it with Toxicity and skills that do degen. Toxicity > Poison Arrow > Run. Repeat until he died.

You should be able to do some form of what I did, since I did it on my monk using largely necro skills:
"You Move Like a Dwarf!", Virulence, Vile Miasma, Necrosis
That's really the only part of the build you need concern yourself with. For the rest of the skills I had I only used Restful Breeze here and there while kiting and respositioning when he set up a new round of spirits. It pretty obvious: YMLaD! not only interrupts but gives the needed condition to start your chain, while crippling him and stopping him from retreating to his spirits.
Its not so different from any other degen chain. I just happen to find this particular combination useful. Throw in something defensive and something health oriented per your profession and you should be fine.

They did do an update 2 him 2 up his regen, and it is a pain in the butt... even on my ranger it took about 5-7 mins 2 kill him...
I kept using Psn Arrow, Pin down, and Hunters shot with 1 of the spirit pets ( i think the one that adds 2 ur dmg)
Just stay away from his crappy little Ritualist spawns... GL

Be glad your not a warrior. It's a right pain.

Yep as a warrior, especially if you try to actually kill him with warrior skills and not gimmick it, it is quite difficult

Is it more are tasks like that always harder to do with a warrior??? (griffin, and doppleganger mainly)

Doppelganger is easy. I brought any build and dominated it.

Yeah if you know the trick of stacking the deck in your favor, but in a regular of a warrio vs doppleganger I always heard that it was hard to beat in a fair fight...

Warrior vs Dopple - take frenzy and don't use it, he'll be dead in 13 seconds or less in NM

For the griffin I used Grenth's balance and was very careful about how close I let myself get to his spirits. I was a warr, and his aggro range is larger than the area the spirits affect. Bring an interrupt or 2 and you should be ok.
