Unexpected surprise with Livia

When I am Vanquishing Elona Reach area in hard mode Livia never seems to get a dp. I have done this 4 or 5 times now and it has happened every time. I will get a total party wipe and the be ressed at a shrine but livia will always be at a +2 morale boost. Has anyone else ever seen this happen or is my Livia hero really a superhero. I would like your thoughts on the matter.

happen to me last night a slaver's exile. and a few other places.. not sure what it is... I thought the essence of clarity had something to do with it but that doesnt effect D/P/ or does it.. Bugged....??

its because Livia is too bada$$ed to get DP

I take it you are running the necro trio build...she is using DP sig to rez someone who then promptly dies again. Thus she dies but no DP.

Yes I never thought of the dp sig. but even after a total party wipe she has a2% morale boost.

Yes, because death pact sig doesn't give you DP when someone dies to it. Chances are, someone else died first, she rezzed them, and because that target already has DP, it's likely to die again before livia dies. Your party then wipes, and she's saved with no DP.
It's actually a good way to keep suiciding the same mob over and over again picking off an enemy or two at a time and not have to worry getting party-60'ed out and having to restart in HM (that is, if you're that desperate and can't beat it any other way...).

she has been eating my candy canes . yes i have noticed that as well, but last night, she did get a death penalty. it was the first time i noticed it on her.

I heard she opens up in places once she gets drunk. I'll have to try that out tonight...

I don't know anything else about her, but he dies always first in my sab build. :P He doesn't like to be alive.
