Hi All

I am sorta new to the Guildwars universe, havent played it since the origional was released, I did however manage to get my character to Level 20 before leaving the game, I never ascended though. So recently I have been getting back into the game, forgot how much fun it was, I decided to start a new Character, an Elementalist. I am reaching the Level 20 and want to know about the armours available, I know I can get decent armour at Dronknors Forge but I was speaking to someone online that had a superb set of armour, but all they said was it was Elite. Where / How do you set about obtaining elite armour and is it expensive?

Cheers

Elite armour costs 15K per piece plus material costs, a lot of Elite armour is endgame stuff, but anything that costs 15K is Elite, some just look nicer than others.

Elite armor isn't any better, in terms of armor level, then the armor you can get at Droknar's Forge. It just looks different and costs a lot more.

You can see what all the armors look like at the following link. Just click on an armor and you can see what materials it needs, etc. Another link on the page will list which outposts can sell you which armors

It's an old cliche, but still true: Wiki is your friend.

There are many different armors ingame. Some are Elite (15k per piece), some are cheap (1k per piece) and some are obscenely expensive (Obsidian). It all boils down to how much you're willing to spend to get your character custom made Name Brand duds.

You can buy a pair of jeans at K-mart or go to Paris and get a Christian Dior dress handmade for you. It's no different in the guild wars universe.

Personally, I look at all the armor sets available for my character and buy the one that I think looks the best regardless of price.
