Expanded below:

Here's how armor dying for PvP should be done:
1. Have a NO Dye option when creating/modding PvP item available for everyone - use a PvE dye or dye combination and not have it deleted when remodding the item.
2. Have an unlockable White Dye for PvP item creation, unlocked as one-time payment of 30-50k faction.
3. Have an unlockable Black Dye for PvP item creation, unlocked as one-time payment of 80-100k faction. Yes, it should be that high, the ability to spawn Black PvP items at will would be a nice reward for the elite who have high Faction Cap, meaningless at the moment.
4. Dye mixes should remain PvE exclusive.

So much anger and hostility in this post. lol

I see both sides. Yes I'd like to be able to have more dye options in PVP. Sometimes I make PVP only characters for screenshots (I'm addicted to those hehe) But then there's the issue of more armors in PVP as well. And some people like to be able to say they worked hard for their elite armor and all the dyes. But for now I'll say /signed because it is a good idea. I can just see the other side of the story as well.

lol 55 the only monk I have is a PvP monk. for the casual player 10mins a day with a Ele HM nolani wall farm It is very simple and the skills are easy to get to use the build, 10 mins a Day Destroyer core farming, their is really no excuse to say the casual player cant farm for 10 mins, every character class has its great solo easy as pie farm spots that everyone should be able to find On GURU or WIKI. it is very easy for the casual player to get the things they need only thing is most casual players spend more time QQ about the stuff they cant get instead of spending a little time and effort into it.

it fits into the catorgory of:
Most Casual players want everything now and want it for free even the incrediably hard to find things.

the other casual players are willing to spend a little time and effort to acheive the goal.

the hardcore player sees what he/she wants and does not stop untill they get it and when it comes to the hard spots welcomes it because the reward they are searching for is worth all the trouble.

If your not willing to spend the effort why should you get the rewards?? thats all I can really ask

but as for the armor and dye just add 2 dye colors to the dye selection at the bottom of the eqquipment modifer. would be quite simple. and would make alot people happy just to have the option.

let me get this straight...pve'ers who farm mindless ai monsters can have black armor, but pvp'ers who fight other players don't deserve it because they didn't "work" for it? same with the elite armors and weapons too, yes?

i don't usually insult people, but seriously...you "pvp'ers don't deserve squat" people are idiots. nothing is handed to pvp players on a silver platter. on the contrary, pvp players earn their leet stuff through achievements just like in pve. just because it doesn't cost gold doesn't mean its free. pvp characters have no means to make money and have to earn rewards in other ways.

Except this guy wants to get it through faction probably. If this was unlocked for Reward Points, which is actually a measure of pvp experience to a degree, I'd sign this. I'm a pvper and I'm not signing because instead of farming plat, he'll just trap zaishen or summat.

If you have a pvp only account you already know you are not going to get all the stuff that PVErs get. You can make whatever you need whenever you need. You just aren't going to get all the 15k armor or black and white dye.

If they want that stuff almost every True PvPer I know just makes a pve char and farms with it until he or she can get the armor and then goes any PvPs with that char. It's not hard people.

As long as they can earn gold... and they can if they make HoH.
